Hi everyone I'm so stress thinking what my baby will be. I got a boy at my first pregnancy and I'm praying to have a baby girl this June 2015. Most of the old wives tales I did even the Chinese calendar and it say I will be having a GIRL! But still if I can make sure and hopefully I will find it sooner.
Nope, no way to tell the gender at 15 weeks. You likely won't know that until your baby is able to tell you themselves.
It may be possible to find out the sex of your baby at 15 weeks, but doctors typically suggest to wait until at least 18 weeks, as that will give you a definite answer.
I'll be really happy when everyone gets beyond/up to the A/S point and we stop having 500, "how early can you tell the sex" posts. The level of obsession with the baby's sex is mind boggling to me. Maybe it's because I'm Team Green, but I don't have this burning desire to know. Yes, I'm curious, but I'm not DYING if I don't find out right this very second.

I'm not even team green, but I can't figure out the obsession.

Im not team green but im 100% okay waiting until im 18-20 weeks to find out...Not like im having a baby shower before then... registering for stuff I want will still be there in February as opposed to January 1st.
You can go to private type clinics here in CA to find out after 12 weeks (not sure where you are). I don't care to pay $30 for that.. I am just waiting until my 18 week appt. It's a surprise no matter when you find out (is how I look at it). waiting a couple weeks is better than going too early and getting a false "guess".

This is almost word for word what I was going to say. I just don't understand why it is so important that you can't wait a few weeks. You still have 20 or so weeks before the baby gets here, is that enough time to prep? Sigh.
Just be patient! You'll find out soon enough. I'd rather wait and have a for sure answer than be impatient and have a wrong prediction. Also, why stress about it? The baby's sex is determined at conception...there's nothing you can do to change it.
I'm all for wanting to know early and being super Super excited .... But the search bar will change your life. You can find out the sex at 16 wks if the baby is cooperative .
I would do some research before going to do an elective ultrasound for this purpose. There has been some information about its dangers in the news lately. Also, not guaranteed to be right even at 18-20 weeks but much more likely than at 15.
Sorry so many people are negative! Not everyone has time to go back 500 pages to check when this topic was discussed, and it's nice to have a place to talk to other mommies where we aren't judged or being criticized for our questions. No question is dumb, ask as many time as you'd like, ignore the negativity! YOU DO NOT have to wait 18 to 20 weeks. I went to a clinic in Ohio where they do 2D 3d and 4d ultrasounds as early as 14 weeks to tell gender, and I went at 14 weeks and it was UNDENIABLE that my son is in fact a male! (: good luck!
I was 13w 5d, went in for genetic testing via ultrasound & and my ultrasound technician told me it was a boy! So you can definitely find out! I'm 15w 2d as of today.
I was 13w 5d, went in for genetic testing via ultrasound & and my ultrasound technician told me it was a boy! So you can definitely find out! I'm 15w 2d as of today.
Funny. I have yet to see a single poster come in and tell us their 13 week ultrasound showed a girl. Huh.

@caseycruz02 lol, mine the same. She looked me up & down as if to work out whether I was an asker, decided I was and told me flat out not to even go there! I get the feeling the poor woman has to say it like 50 times a day.

Nope. You cant know the gender until the kid is old enough to both talk and grasp the concept of gender identity. So please, i don't care how smart you think your baby is. Thia isnt happenening at 15 weeks inside your uterus. It is not even remotely possible and sort of a silly notion.
Wow.. Message to the women who leave mean negative messages for no apparent reason. One: you obviously must not be happy with yourselves to be rude to people you don't know. Two: this is supposed to be a safe place for ladies to come and ask questions and not be judged or criticized. Three: scaring people away is terrible and anyone who feels the need to be a bully on here is a sad excuse for a mother. BE AN ADULT PLEASE.... THANKS
Thanks, and this is supposed to be a place where pregnant woman can ask as many questions they please without rude woman like yourself to be nasty to them and make them feel dumb for the question they just asked. REGARDLESS how many times a question is asked, no question is dumb.

Mine showed girl at 13 wks with my daughter.
Well to be fair, your story changes based on convenience. In the beginning you found out the sex of all your children at 14 weeks. Recently with the influx of the 13 week guesses your timeline has miraculously moved a week earlier. So you'll forgive me if I don't put a lot of stock in your comments on this subject.
Wait how are these women sad excuses for a mother just BC they are being blunt... Having a little fun .. Or posting what is their truth on an open forum? I guess I fail to see that.

I said 13 /14 weeks . guess you failed to read every single statement made . every one was 13 + days... But not 14 + . meaning 13 wks 3days for my first... Or 13 weeks 5 days for my daughter... But still in 13 weeks ..u know BC a week has 7 days in it. Did you get it that time ?
Edited* my last son was measuring 14 weeks when they said he was a boy . though he should have been 13 weeks + days by ovulation.
OP, the only way to really find out really early is with genetic testing. I was tested at 13 weeks (Harmony test) and it was confirmed a week later that we are having a girl. The test is supposed to be 99% accurate.
Re: Is it possible to know the gender in 15 weeks?
