For those of you with inconsolable crying babies, I want to share my pediatricians tips for us.
She said to give him tummy time when he is mad. Since he is already mad....what's the difference?
Also, she said to think of his screaming as exercise. Since he can't move around yet, that's what he does to tire himself out. She said as long as his needs are met, it's ok if he cries. It's the loudest exercise ever....but these tips have really helped our sanity the last couple days.
I have a question, I am not on much so maybe you guys already discussed this....but those of you who have quit bleeding, how long did it take? I am 5 weeks postpartum today and it's showing no signs of stopping.
Me and FI went to go see the new hobbit movie so we went to the 4:30 matinee cause that's usually when LO takes his longest nap. He literally slept thru all 2 hours and 20 minutes of the movie. #:-S
He of course screamed the whole way home, but hey we got out of the house and it was a success

I've been wanting to see Mockingjay so bad but I'm afraid to take LO. I just don't want to be "those people" in the theater.

I understand that, before LO was born anytime someone brought a baby/small kid i was always like really?? But I knew he'd sleep cause it was his nap time. I was fully prepared tho to get up and go nurse or do what I needed and miss the movie. I hate when those moms let their kids scream in the theatre.

Did you wear him? Or just hold him? I think mine would do great in his car seat but would they let you bring that in?

I just held him. I've seen car seats and strollers in theaters. I think you would be able to!
I cant be the only one who misses when we actually called people out on stupid questions? We've all gotten so soft and friendly towards the newborn equivalent of name my baby threads. I miss the fun!
Nope!! I've had the best meme saved for weeks to use when drama goes down. I'm so sad I haven't been able to use it!!
Our dog is finally warming up to DD. If he can reach her when she's crying or being fussy he will lick her hand. It's super cute and I'm so glad he's warmed up to her after being the center of attention for so long.
"He's hungry even though he just ate." I gave the baby his pacifier, no more tears! Hopefully H will try that next time.
My H will say the same. Sometimes, she truly is hungry and needs an extra ounce in the bottle. H had to learn that sometimes the pacifier is the answer and not more milk.
