Sofaking glad I searched thru & found out what happened with the douche & the GF instead of reading thru the drama. I'd be #pissed if I read thru all the crap & still didn't know what happened
Thank you @JNerd. That means alot to hear. These hormones have made this pregnancy a huge rollercoaster of emotions for me, and the past few months have left me feeling incredibly emotionally vulnerable (for lack of a better term).
Between the mood swings and the mom guilt...I've been feeling like I'm just slacking. I'm really looking forward to having this baby here safe and sound on the outside so I can get my body and hormones back in check abd start feeling like myself again!
If it helps you any, I actually felt like a better mom when I had a toddler and a newborn. I puked for all 38 weeks of my pregnancy with DS2 so I felt like a crap mother when I was pregnant. But when he was little and would just nap in the Moby or nurse, I really felt like I could give DS1 some solid attention. I actually felt like a really good mother during those first couple of weeks.
Honestly, I'm hoping my PP recovery allows me to do this as well. I am envisioning hopefully being able to pop the newborn in the wrap carrier (or swing if we are just sitting home) and give DS1 some solid attention/play time. Or being able to take DS1 to open gym or the indoor play place and have the baby napping in the car seat or just put him in the wrap carrier so I'm still able to be active and take DS out to do stuff. Bc he totally needs it and so do I. So I'm really hoping I'm able to bounce back quickly.
I cant wait to get back on the swing of eating healthier (and maybe fitting in a light workout here and there if possible) and just taking better care of myself. I really kind of fell off the wagon with it while pregnant.
And then being able to have a glass or 2 of wine at night to allow myself to just let go of mom guilt...that will be nice.
While we are talking baby wearing, maybe you guys can give me your recs for a good wrap/sling and also a more structured carrier.
I did minimal baby wearing with DS1. I have the k'tan which I loved, but DS1 was a bit baby, and it was really only comfortable when he was an itty bitty. I also have an ergo, which TBH, is not all the comfortable.
Any suggestions? Of course cost is always a big factor for me as well.

I used the moby when she was little. My maya wrap ring sling is my saviour now. Easy in and out, and can be done quickly, so DS doesn't have time to get into shit while I am doing it. We also got a glider board for our stroller and he *loves* to go for a ride.
Do people actually pay for shit on games like this? I looked and there was an option for a package that cost $100!!! Who spends that kind of money on this shit?
Re: Happy Feelings! Let's drink!
It's decent.
And so far I feel smart.
I really can't dispute that one.

Thankfully, newborns are 1, stationary, and 2, sleep a lot, so while DS was adjusting to the change I could give him a lot of attention.

In terms of sizing, if you are on the cusp, go the smaller size or the tail is super long #speakingfromexperience
I had no idea "lives" were even a thing. I clearly have no idea how this shindig works. Need cliffnotes.
