My mom asks for Christmas lists from us still. So, about halfway down the list we put "diapers". I told my parents they both needed to read it together since it might be confusing. My dad got to it first and started clapping and smiling. My mom had no idea what was going on. I pulled out a bottle of champagne from my purse that had a label on it that said "you're going to be grandparents! June 2015" and showed it to her. Then for the rest of the family, we gathered everyone outside for a family photo and set it on self capture. My husband said, "everyone say Julia's pregnant!!" And we caught their reactions on camera. It was cute

As for everyone else, we just posted a pic of the ultrasound on fb on thanksgiving saying how thankful we are for everyone and how we are even more thankful for Baby K coming in June 2015.

These are SO fun to look at. I'm a professional Maternity & Newborn photographer in Alaska, so we had a little fun with our "Baby girl on board." And of course we had to include our first (fur-baby) girl. ;-) We sent this out as Christmas cards to family/friends, as well as posted this on my blog (www.savvy-images.com/uncategorized/exciting-news-for-the-holidays), Facebook and Instagram! We announced it to her grandparents earlier in the pregnancy with cute little "Made in Alaska" onesies.

Finally let the Facebook world know tonight.

Here's what I wrote along with the photo;

So earlier in November I joined this online group that has lots of other 'crazy' ladies on it. (So I fit right in LOL).

The group has a couple different sayings that I love. One of which is "if you don't post it on Facebook, then it's not really true/never happened"

So what does any of this have to do with a weird photo of me holding an avocado?

Because an avocado is roughly the length my baby is today!!
