Hi Ladies,
Maybe I'm being overly compulsive, but I am just wondering if it is OK to give DS a scrambled egg almost every morning. He is now 14 months and was eating only egg whites up until his 1st b'day, as was recommended by our pediatrician. After he turned one, we started giving him the whole egg. He loves it and eats one egg most mornings. It has been my understanding that at this young age, babies need a diet rich in cholesterol and fat for their brain development. I just want to be sure we aren't overdoing it with the morning egg.
Anyone think this is a problem for a 14 month old?

Re: Eating eggs too often?
In fact, it's also fine for most adults as well. Eggs are very nutritious and studies have shown that their regular consumption does not significantly increase cholesterol.
