How far along are you? I am 36 weeks and 6 days. Can't believe I'll be term tomorrow. What a long journey!

Upcoming appointments? Went to first weekly appt this past Monday, so far GBS is negative and baby is head down!

Any updates to share? Only 3 more shifts left at work! Working tonight, tomorrow, and Monday! So ready to be done! Plan to deep clean house this weekend and finish a couple of small painting projects, then I think we will be ready for baby

How are you feeling? Honestly, not the best. I'm ready for this baby to come out of me! The other night I puked at 2am. Last night, baby was kicking my bladder so much, had to go pee every 20 minutes. I couldn't breathe laying down in bed and horrible reflux. I was soo uncomfortable. Ended up propping my head up on 3 pillows and a blanket, fell asleep upright, woke up in middle of night with back aches b/c of my position, and was finally able to toss 2 extra pillows aside and get some sleep! Still on my zantac, prilosec, and tums......

We ended buying a nice camera as our xmas gift to take pictures of baby

We figured her xmas present will be all the crap that is in her nursery lol.

How far along are you? 30w6d

Upcoming appointments? I had a growth scan on Mon and I see my OB tomorrow.

Any updates to share? Baby boy is weighing 3.4lbs and baby girl is 3.25lbs!

How are you feeling? Uncomfortable! The swelling in my legs/feet is a lot, it was bad yesterday even with compression socks. My hands are also swollen and achy. Sleep has been difficult, especially since I can't seem to breathe, haha. Yeah, 1st and 2nd tri were way easier for me, this is a bit more challenging!

QOTW: Since Christmas is a little over a week away - how are you doing with holiday shopping? All done and wrapped under the tree or haven't even started? Did you get anything for the new baby or have anything baby-related on your list? Almost done, just one maybe two left to buy, then I just need to wrap them. We are doing a less gift-y year than usual, which I couldn't be happier about, I'm just happy to spend time with family and friends before these babies arrive, and enjoy the holidays

Any updates to share? I'll find out Friday if the discordance has gotten any worse & if doc puts me in the hospital again. I will be so sad to be in over Xmas.
How are you feeling? Feeling good still! Sleeping ok every other night.

DH & I bought new living room furniture so that's our present to each other. Babies r done but I'm sure our parents will have gifts for them

How are you feeling? Large and slow. And my feet are getting tired more quickly these days.

Did you get anything for the new baby or have anything baby-related on your list? About halfway done... though still need to get something for DH! Nothing baby related on the list - but the day after Xmas I am ordering any essentials that are left on our registry using the completion discount as I want to be sure I have everything we need in time... so I guess technically you could say that stuff is for the baby

Upcoming appointments? Tuesday starts my weekly appts!

Any updates to share? So last Saturday we got the crib and most of the dresser put together! I say most because unfortunately there were 2 broken pieces belonging to the drawer - we'll need to get these pieces replaced! Otherwise chugging along with the clean up .. almost done!

How are you feeling? Insomnia has been creeping in these past few days. Last night I finally got a good 8 hrs of sleep, which was more than what I got in the past 2 nights combined! I'm praying it continues!

QOTW: I've fallen so behind, I'm getting really nervous! I usually get 90% of my xmas shopping done on black Friday but this year I couldn't make it so it's put me in a bit of a bind. Guess we at least have 1 more weekend to figure it out!

Hi ladies! This will be my very last update, as on 12/13/14, my sweet Madelyn Ann was born! It was such an amazing and soul healing day.

I wish you all the best of luck and send prayers for safe and healthy remainders of your pregnancies. It probably seems like you have forever left, but hang in there! It will be so worth the sore back, hips, joints, crazy hormones, etc!!

Hi lovely ladies!

36w1d here. The naps from 1st Tri are making a reappearance to my afternoon schedule it seems! Still sleeping well at night, just a few trips to the bathroom and rolling over to adjust my sore hip.

Had my weekly checkup yesterday and GBS swab. I am still 1 cm dilated, but not surprised as my contractions have dialed way back since going on modified bed rest at 34w (ie the doctor told me to stop doing so much walking and cooking and cleaning, and just park my butt on the couch).

However, I am now 25-30% effaced and the doctor said, "Whoa, baby is very low!!!! You'll probably go a bit earlier than your due date with all this pressure, and expect the little man to have a cone head."

QOTW: Still have a few small items to purchase, all via Amazon for family. I haven't wrapped DH's gifts yet.

I'm 37w2d and had a check up on Monday. Waiting on GBS results. Was taken off work last Wednesday due to severe swelling. This week I've been laying low but working from home. It's nice to put my feet up yet keep my mind busy.

I hate to be negative since I want this so bad- but my pregnancy hasn't been great. I now have PUPPP- huge ass rash all over my stomach and arms. It itches and burns sooo bad! I am soooo aware- haha. Heard it goes away after he is born. Still waiting from the Dr Office about what I can take to alleviate some of the discomfort.

Oh I had an u/a last week- he is in position and sporting a cone head- haha! And measuring 6lbs 14oz- so he'll be a big healthy baby.

QOTW: Since they think he'll be here any day now we didn't decorate for Christmas. Shopping is done- just waiting on packages to finish rolling in. Have a few more to wrap still. This kid is so spoiled already and frankly my hubby and I are as well. Hoping for a low key holiday filled with MOTHERHOOD- come on kid, so ready to meet you!

Hi ladies! I had my baby girl on 12/14 (vaginally!) after being induced. Life at home with a newborn is a little crazy and I'm trying to find time to write her birth story.

Annabelle Jade, born 12/14/14 3:14am, 6lb7oz, 20.5 inches long.

I wish you all the best of luck for the rest of your pregnancies. I'll poke back in from time to time. Sorry I couldn't get the pic to align right.

I used hydrocortisone constantly but nothing really helped. Mine did go away before he arrived. I hope yours does too!

Congrats @beachy6 and @heleng5‌ enjoy your early Christmas presents

AFM, 31w2d over here. I had a regular 30w checkup this past Monday and the heartbeat, my blood pressure, weight and belly size were all good per my Dr.

I go on the 23rd to find out if my placenta previa has resolved. I'm hoping so, but I won't have to wait much longer to find out now.

We spent this past week organizing, washing, exchanging and purchasing baby items. The only big thing left on my list is the monitor, but I'm not in a huge rush for that one. We are waiting a few items to ship and want to purchase a couple of decorative things.

QOTW: We are so behind this year! Eek! I just purchased gifts for my MIL last night, but I have a feeling the 23rd will be my big day for shopping. Nothing like some good old procrastination! We have a wedding 3 hours away this weekend & I work Sunday, so that leaves little time this weekend.

Upcoming appointments? Midwife visit yesterday, go again on Monday if Baby A isn't here.

Any updates to share? I'm still pregnant.

How are you feeling? Starting to feel a little discouraged. I'm only 1cm dilated and 70% effaced and baby is at a -2 position. I know that these numbers don't mean anything and that they can change any any time, but I was hoping to be a little further along. I'm very scared of being induced. Hopefully the little one cooperates and decides to meet the world this weekend.

QOTW: My shopping is finished and all of the presents are wrapped and under the tree. I did buy three things for the little one - a SkipHop book, a SkipHop owl toy and a Fisher Price giftset.

Hello ladies! 31 weeks today. Pregnancy-wise, feeling good. Otherwise, with a nasty cold

Saw the perinatologist two days ago and we are on track with growth and baby has been head down since 23 weeks. Of course, he also had a hand AND a foot in his face, so no luck with pictures.

QOTW: not a single present purchased. It's going to be a loooong weekend!

Upcoming appointments? Next appointment is at 39wks on the nose

Any updates to share? I’m ready for baby to make an appearance, but this kid is pretty content staying in my belly so that’s where baby will stay. After reviewing my growth scan OB decided to keep think going the way they are for now. I’m 1/2cm dilated and 40% effaced.

How are you feeling? Physically I’m ready to get this baby out, but until then I’m trying to relax. Of course everything hurts and I’m popping antacids like candy, but I was blessed with a good night’s sleep last night.

QOTW: 99% of shopping is done and presents are wrapped and under the tree. Family is done, but I have 3 friends who always exchange gifts with (small items). Going out to finish all my family was such a pain I haven’t even thought about what to get these three girls and honestly I wish we could just skip it this year. I know I won’t be able get them something until well after the holidays if at all.

Upcoming appointments? I had one yesterday and also had my glucose test, Tdap and Rhogam. Everything seemed great with baby boy. I go back in two weeks.

Any updates to share? Not much happening. We got DS1 new bedroom furntiure and put the crib, dresser, etc. in baby boy's room. The room was an extra bedroom before, so while the extra bed is gone everything else is still in there. I need to get working on that soon!

How are you feeling? I'm exhausted and my reflux has been horrible!

QOTW: I'm almost done shopping. I have to get a couple more things. I have all DS' gifts hidden in a closet so he doesn't find them. I'm going to try to wrap them this weekend, but I'm not putting them under the tree yet because he'll unwrap them. I got a couple new things for the baby, but not putting them under the tree or anything. I got a blanket, a sleeper and I'm trying to decide on which cute little St. Patrick's Day hat I like best to order. We have almost everything from DS1.

How are you feeling? Still good, still sleeping well, but my belly is feeling really big these days! I have been having some dizzy spells that I will mention to my doctor, but I imagine they are just a normal part of a big baby cutting off my blood flow

QOTW: I'm almost done. I have a few more things to buy today on my lunch break. I have been so exhausted every night, so I'll wrap everything this weekend while DS is napping and then I'm done. My xmas list consists of the few items we need for baby sister, so I'll be buying those after Christmas if need be.

Wow!! Great news On babies being born and about too!!! Exciting and congratulations!

30+1. Appt tomorrow, daughter has Fifth disease so they are watching me and we are hoping I previously had it and am immune. We were supposed to do maternity pics Saturday, but if she is still mega rashy we will postpone, can't do them without her and she looks miserable but is so in good spirits and active it is a huge disconnect. I'm tired, but who isn't here? Lol!
All shopping done, finished early on purpose in case any complications like in DD's pregnancy. Made for a weird December, no panic or last minute runs, surreal lol!

Any updates to share? Nope! Husband and I need to get Tdap vaccines. Oh and we got our first gifts from our registry! I guess people are buying Christmas gifts off there? Fine by me!

How are you feeling? I lost my ankles (swollen!) literally overnight, so I started freaking out about pre-eclampsia. Luckily I can have my BP checked really easily at work and it was fine. Still not happy about the sudden swelling. Other than that I am doing well!

QOTW: So, so not done. I have 2 nieces to shop for and a gift card to get my parents. Nothing is wrapped. I'm such a slacker. We didn't specifically get anything for the baby, but as I mentioned, other people are buying stuff, so those will be the baby's gifts.

Hi there! Thanks for the check in! Our little girl was born at 8lbs 13oz on 12/2. I still cannot believe I pushed her out vaginally. I had a pretty lengthy induction, and at times my spirit was pretty broken, but I am reminded again and again waking up every morning and seeing her to be so grateful. Sleepless nights has a completely new meaning now, but wouldn't trade it for anything.

I wish you ladies the best of luck with the rest of your pregnancies and deliveries. The feeling of holding your baby for the first time was like nothing else. I imagined it time and time again and it still blew my wildest dreams. Savor every moment!!

I'm really late to check-in this week, We've had family staying with us.
How far along are you? 36 weeks +3 (according to ob)

Upcoming appointments? Monday

Any updates? After my 24 hour stay in the hospital its been pretty uneventful. They did a 24hr urine while I was there and my dr himself called me yesterday and asked me to come in because there was protein in my urine. So I did but protein was negative in urine as of yesterday. Babies looked great on u/s and all else was well. I am having to repeat the 24hr urine at home over the weekend to take back Monday. He told me he wants me to make it to at least next week. And then I overheard him dictating outside the room and he said "come back Monday to discuss possible early delivery". Sooo I really wish he had said that to me so I would know what he was thinking. But it sounds like he may want to do c-sec early. I still have not dilated/effaced. Which is surprising to me based on how many/how strong my BH are becoming. My sister said that he is probably wanting to do c-sec before I start to dilate/labor on my own. (That's what her Dr told her with her last baby)

How are you feeling? About the same just getting more and more uncomfortable. I switched acid reflux meds hoping that it would help, but I've still been waking up choking on acid. (Tmi) I'm just getting really really ready to meet my babies. :-)

QOTD: We have done what Christmas shopping we are doing this year. With me out of work and expecting the babies any day now we only bought for the small children in the family. My sister and her family came over after thanksgiving to visit and bake cookies. We all agreed that that time together would take the place of gifts this year.

My mom spent the past few days with us sewing pretty much the entire time she was here. She made 2 receiving blankets, 6 burp cloths, and 4 gowns. (The burp cloths are just wash towels with baby fabric sewn on them, I think they will work well)...pic below :-)

@Ecarabeo217‌ - our lo had the same issue! When we went for our 3d scan, she was like sucking on her toes! Thankfully, tech was still able to snap pics of her face but alotta of em have the foot if not in her mouth than by her face. Hopefully your lo will cooperate next time u go!

Hi everyone! I'm late, as usual

How far along are you? 35w5d

Upcoming appointments? Had one yesterday which included the GBS test so I'm waiting for those results. Next appointment is on Wednesday - Christmas Eve.

Any updates to share? Everything looks great so far! I'm 60% effaced and 1.5 cm dilated. Baby is low and ready to go! I haven't had any regular or timeable contractions, so I'm not expecting it to happen soon, but I'm excited to see if I've made any progress by next appointment.

How are you feeling? Okay. I'm still really uncomfortable, of course, but other than that I can't really complain.
