@geetargirl05 Do you have any way to wear him? When DS2 fights sleep I put him in the mai tie or woven and he will normally sleep there. Once he has slept it in for about 15 minutes I can lay him down and he wont wake up for a few hours.
Update: Legs out in the K'Tan has him peacefully in and out of sleep as long as I'm moving around. So, guess I'll be getting some exercise in. At least I can still bump!
My mom will be watching baby when I go back to work so tonight she was over and I was trying to show her how to wrap the moby and she said and I quote "we didn't wear babies in my day. My baby had colic and my house was clean." X(
they also let their babies CIO, btw did she mean you?

This would make me super nervous, but I never let my mom babysit because I knew she would not respect my wishes and would do things her way. As long as your mom does what you prefer, she can say anything she likes, I suppose. Grr
Ugh...I feel like I will never get anything done! DS will only let me wear him for about half an hour at a time...I have tons of presents to wrap and baking to do. DH works the next 4 days and we leave for Christmas on Sunday...freaking out!!
Why does my kid always wait until she is freshly bathed, dresses, and swaddled to take a giant poop???
Tonight I was holding LO at the dinner table and lifted my fork (literally the first bite of my meal), and I hear him poop an enormous poop. I look down and he's grinning ear to ear. Thanks, kid. 8-|
@Cantisa That has to be really hard to leave your baby when you think she will let it CIO. You never know, its a lot different when its your grand child, than your child. So she might hold and spoil the baby all day. Or maybe she knows some magic tricks to soothe LO.
Life is so unfair. Just found out my old boss has uterine cancer which spread and she is done fighting it and moving to hospice. This woman is truly such a beautiful soul, with two beautiful teenage daughters. She, of all people, does not deserve this. My heart is full of sadness.

This makes me so happy my mom actually said the words "he's your baby. I'll follow your lead" to me the other day.

I'm so sorry.. it always seems to happen to the most wonderful people. You're absolutely right in saying that life isn't fair. Big hugs coming your way.
Noah has pooped 5 times in the past 2 hours. Really runny. He is in good spirits, plenty of wet diapers, and eating fine. I suppose I shouldn't worry, but that doesn't mean I won't!
C is currently asleep, DH is in his man cave, and I just enjoyed a flashback to college - eggnog with a splash of Jack. Yummmm. Might have to try to get DH agree to a pilgrimage to Lynchburg in the summer...it has been way too long since I took a tour there. Used to go every fall while in college.

Dd had a major poopsplosion at daycare during the Christmas party. Luckily it was after she was on santa's lap. And thank God she was wearing pants otherwise it would have been all over my hands :-&
5 cycles of "TTC" - 3 intentional, 2 not so intentional. 5 BFPs. My rainbow arrived 10/15/14. TFMC 08.02.13 at 19+ weeks. Everyday I grieve for my little Olive.
And @c-mo ? (I know that the call out isn't correct, someone help me out)
@Cantisa. Sorry your mom is making you feel uncomfortable. I'm sure your lo will be perfectly treated. And just tell her that you are so special your husband cooks for you. Boom.
@pnwlover12 cancer sucks. I'm so sorry and I hope your friend is surrounding by love and light.
Any ideas? This kid will NOT nap for more than 40 minutes. We've let him sleep on me and DH, we took a car ride, tried every possible sleeping surface and we are lucky if we even get him to fall asleep. Tried swaddled and not swaddled. He's tired, very tired but fighting it like his life depended on it.
My first didnt nap for more than 30 min until she was 11 months old.
My LO is the same way. It also takes forever to get him to go to sleep at night
@geetargirl05 we have the same baby. DH is like she hasn't slept at all today that's why she's crabby. Dude...this is every day. Welcome! @pnwlover12 I'm Sorry About Your Friend (hugs)

Toddler clingy level 8000. She's driving me insane. But won't let anyone else do anything.
I'm right there with you. "I want you, mommy." All day long. Meanwhile baby is coughing so hard he pukes and won't be set down for a moment. Mama needs 1 minute when no one is touching her.

Oh yikes. Yes you do.
Currently in bed under sleeping coughy baby. Toddler is asleep in his room and DH is with him in there. I hear snoring, so I'm the only one awake. Even though I'm still being touched, the silence between infant coughing fits is really nice. :P
