There are so many of us on this board that have been by each other's side from way back in the day of just TTGP. We've watched each other get pregnant, not get pregnant, have miscarriages, start treatments, have treatments canceled, have treatments fail, have treatments succeed .... I could go on and on. We've become a family to each other in an odd never have met in real life way. To make a horrible comment about one of our family members is just wrong and for that she can fuck off.
Seriously though why would they want to even come over here and start shit. Grow the fuck up!!!!
Leave the "drama" in a sort of innocent West Side Story "let's just dance it off - MAMBO!" sort of way and come back to the drama having escalated to Tony killing Bernardo. WTF?
My jaw dropped while reading that thread and it just got worse and worse from that poster. I'm practically steaming over here, you are a better woman than me @NariaDreaming .
That poster who said that was so vile! It gives me faith in thier community that they weren't agreeing with her though.
DD born Oct 2011 - DS#1 born Jan 2014 - DS#2 born Apr 2015 - DS#3 born Sept 2016 - LO#5 due Feb 7, 2018
No one was agreeing with that crazy C%^& cake. Posters like that have probably been here, there, the other places y'all were talking about... and gotten kicked off every one!
I always get weary now when someone says they were a member of so and so but left because "the women there were all bitches"...... yep we don't want you either lol.
I'm pretty sure I still have an account there! I had both apps downloaded at first and signed up for both, then realized what I had done when I went to post stuff.... so I just deleted the BBC app but I think I'm still signed up lol. I was able to read everything today.
Same name, same everything! I closed the account though, I just double checked it.
Well. That was a shit show. Hopefully that poster will actually understand that what she said was 100% wrong, and never says anything like that again. Internet balls slay me everytime.
I like The Bump better anyways, I had no issues with BBC honestly, but I mainly stayed in a Bargain Hunter board about good deals and whatnot... the baby clubs are huge and the posts move 100 miles a minute.. It is a LOT bigger I feel like.
I just saw this and caught up on everything. WOW I am speechless that someone would say something like that.
I may not post as much as some other people on here but I have been following and lurking since I found out I was pregnant back in September. So when I read that I felt a punch to my gut because though we may not "know" each other I still feel like this community is special and it was like saying something hurtful about my friends.
Im so glad I decided to immerse myself in this community and get to know yall.
I've been a member here for a bit but don't really post in the community- I mostly just check the rest of the site & occasionally browse posts here.
Anyway, I'm a GO (it stands for Group Owner, btw, though I'll take Glorious Overlord any day!) over at the Babycenter group you guys met yesterday. I'm not here in any official capacity or anything (I'm not that important or speshul), I just wanted to say something.
First, I'd like to sincerely apologize for that tasteless comment about one of your moderators. It was incredibly insensitive & cruel, & I was ashamed that it was said by someone in a group with which I am affiliated. We have many members in our community who have struggled with infertility and/or loss, so belittling anyone with like struggles is neither acceptable, nor is it tolerated.
Second, our May 2015 group alone has 16k members, so we definitely get all types. We have 8 GOs (& no, it didn't come with tequila- I wish it did because I could sure as hell use it some days), & we work tirelessly to make sure the TOS are upheld. We were just appointed in mid November, so we are still learning. (We also had interim GOs who are not currently pregnant, so I don't know why that concept is foreign to some people either). Plus, with the aforementioned 16k members, we can't keep up with everything, but we do our best.
Third, we get lots of "you're a big bunch of mean meanies!" posts within our own group too. We definitely have our share of special snowflakes & unicorny members, but we also have our share of snarky, sarcastic posters. We mostly have many who fall somewhere in between.
From the times I've browsed your message boards, I haven't seen anything out of the ordinary... So I don't get what the reputation is about. You ladies seem a lot like the groups of ladies I'm closest with over on BBC- smart, sarcastic, witty, fun, & supportive when it's called for. I think some people just want yes people, & don't appreciate anything else. For what it's worth- those people often aren't happy on BBC either.
Anyway, end unofficial diplomatic convoy. I'm not trying to stir anything up, just wanted to apologize & clear up some misunderstandings. However, flame away if you guys like- it's okay, I can take it. I'm a big girl.
@BeaMyBaby, I really appreciate you reaching out to us. Overall I think the "rivalry" is pretty innocent and funny, but it's always nice to see a little olive branch put out there.
Hopefully now that you've reached out any people coming over and spamming/trolling us will stop for the time being.
I'm so disgusted with what I just read over there. Hugs to you @NariaDreaming Your strength is an inspiration to all of us who have and will struggle with infertility.

Wow, I just caught up and I'm appalled. @NariaDreaming, just wanted to join everyone here by giving you a creepy-stranger internet hug and say that you're amazing. And props to you for being so classy, I would be steaming.
*waves to the Glorious Overlord* Speaking of classy!
Re: BBC attack coming...
I keep reading GO as Glorious Overlord.. pretty sure that's not what it stands for.
I stand corrected. The "GO" closed the thread for "review".
Until the real nastiness, which they called her out on, I thought the whole thing was pretty benign. Not warranting closing it, that's for sure.
They don't utilize the gifs well. Sadz
To no one in particular. "Fuck off" gifs all around!
Part of me wants to go through that thread (ugh, so many pages) to see what was so terrible, but most of me suspects I'm better off not knowing.
Oy, it's like crazy central here today. I'm going to go take a bath, eat ice cream and binge watch Friends or something.

>:D< @NariaDreaming
It was poking fun at someone's infertility issues. Which is just oh so hilarious. Not. Idiots.

@NariaDreaming
I have no words... you fucking amazing beautiful person.. I will woop her ass
Creepy internet hug (that lingers for an extra 2 min)
1- @shmeell25 laughed so hard at "the British are coming" that ginger ale came shooting out of my nose. It's still burning an hour later
2- @NariaDreaming sending lots of love your way >:D<
