Aww, he looks cute! Was your night any better, Sinner?
We finally got her down to sleep around 10:15ish. (for those of you sick of reading about unicorns skip over this next sentence) She slept until 7am. Usually when she sleeps until 6 or 7 she will go back to sleep while I pump and then I go back to bed and we don't get up until 9 or 10. I'm trying to be up for the day at 7 instead to see if she will actually nap today. I think a lot of the fussing was her being so tired because she never naps. She had some serious toots last night too. Thanks for checking on me.
5 cycles of "TTC" - 3 intentional, 2 not so intentional. 5 BFPs. My rainbow arrived 10/15/14. TFMC 08.02.13 at 19+ weeks. Everyday I grieve for my little Olive.
S was a little cranky yesterday post shots and for the first time ever would only sleep if he was on me. He did we - didn't run a fever or anything, and woke up happy as a clam around 10, then went back down until now.
There's rumbling on my lap and it suddenly felt warm. First poop in 2 days! This should be fun.....
My sister arrives today until after Christmas, and the rest of my family on Sunday, so may not be around much. I'm so happy she's finally meeting S!!!
Also, the new announcements thread is now a newb intro thread?

My FIL is annoyed that we call my step dad grandad. He said its weird because he isn't blood related. My dad isn't around and he has raised me since I was 10. Is my being annoyed justified ?
FIL doesn't get to decide who is important in your life.

Wtf? Yes, totally justified. My stepdad is definitely a grandpa to DD. Especially if he's been in your life for that long. It would be a little weird if your mom just remarried this year and you hardly knew the guy. But he's totally a grandpa as far as I'm concerned.
DS just spit up SO MUCH. Seriously, the spot on the sheets was as big as his torso. He never spits up so much. Guess it's time for early morning laundry.

Class party for DD at 9, trying to get LO to nap so I can take a shower and try to get ready. Oh and DH had to come back after leaving just now because DD forgot the gift for the exchange, I got up and found it in the counter and handed it to him when he opened the door.
Later today I want to try and take pics of LO in his christening outfit, FX he doesn't spit up or poopsplosion while we do that.
@Kaylajade8911 Yes, absolutely be irritated. Wouldn't matter if it was the little ol' man next door that you called grandpa, it's not for your FIL to decide.
C decided that she is now a big girl and rebelled against her swaddle last night. Luckily I had bought a Merlin Suit to have on hand, thinking this day would some soon. While she didn't sleep as well as she did swaddled (woke every 3 hours vs sleeping at least 6 hours), at least she didn't wake herself up every 15 minutes like she does without a swaddle. I am hoping she gets used to it quickly and returns to my unicorn baby at night.

Baby got shots last night and he was fine until bed time, then screamed and was inconsolable for over an hour. Also, he hates the Tylenol and keeps spitting it out. My poor sister is going to have her hands full today. Wish I could just stay home again.
On the bright side, DS grew 4 inches and put on 4lb since birth. He is going to be so big!
Going to work at noon for an hour to get my classroom set up for tomorrow morning and make any copies I'll need (and cover the windows on my door so I'll be able to pump without worrying about teenagers ogling as they walk by). I started getting caught up on my evaluation stuff and have already messed up some emails to my principals...I'm the teacher of the year (for real lol) so they'll cut me some slack- right?!
I don't even know what last night was. We had two bad nights of sleep so I decided last night we would bedshare from beginning to end (versus starting in the PNP and ending in the bed). While I did get more sleep, LO wanted to nurse like A HUNDRED MILLION TIMES during the night and she's made three poopy diapers. What is happening???

DD also started rebelling against the swaddle last night. I. Am. Exhausted.
Potluck day! I made it out of the house and remembered everything to make green bean casserole in the crock pot when I got here...so that's a win. And someone brought breakfast items instead of stuff for lunch; why yes, I do need a 2nd panera bagel with cream cheese, thank you!
Omg green bean casserole. Want!

I'm watching the Today Show do the year in review and I am just sobbing. Wtf, is this hormones? I've cried more in the last year than I have in my whole life.

My Christmas cards came yesterday and the first thing my mom says is that I better not be printing address labels like I did with the birth announcements because it's tacky, I should be handwriting the envelopes.
Am I totally off base thinking that's crap? Printing off my spreadsheet, I can have them out in an hour. If I have the handwrite 150 envelopes?

I ended up handwriting 100 envelopes, and writing personalized messages in the vast majority of them. It took almost 3 hours in total, which was a bit ridiculous. I'm not a huge fan of printed labels for cards, even though they're a huge convenience.

I forgot to ask yesterday, did anyone else's LO absolutely LOVE the rota vaccine? I think if the nurse had offered another 10 tubes he would have gladly accepted! Guess he's going to have a sweet tooth!

Formal invitations get hand written (weddings, baptisms, etc). For every other large mailing, I pay Tinyprints to print the mailing and return addesses directly on the envelopes.

DS gagged, cried, and spit it out. Then he spit up. Same with his infant Tylenol. Gag, cry, spit, repeat.
We have been up the majority if every hour since 4 am. I couldn't fall asleep until after 12:30 am. Then, I was up at 2 and 3 because of engorgement. My head and back are killing me.

eek! sorry it was such a terrible experience.
My son is already a drug addict. He acted like tylenol was candy.

The nurse even called it candy. "Hey baby, want some candy?" He was all, "NOPE."

DD loved it. She takes everything without a fuss. Gas drops, gripe water, tylenol. No issues.
I'm watching The Desolation of Smaug today in honor of the release of the last Hobbit movie. I'm sad that it'll be a while before I go see it. And by watching I mean it's on in the background because who can watch a movie when there's a baby present.
After an afternoon/evening severe bout of reflux, LO went 10 hours without eating and slept 8 hours then another 3! What? Love it, but it's not worth it if it means she's going to be in pain the whole day before...
Also, TP to my husband. I have 12 oz of breast milk in the fridge 8 of which I was going to freeze. Well one of the bottles needed to be frozen yesterday and what does he do? Moves them all together so I now have no idea which bottles needed to be frozen.
Do I just go by smell and give dd a bottle? I don't want to empty all of it down the drain.
