All is good - I'm just trying not to AW

Matthew continues to do great - he was taken off TPN last night to go totally on fortified breast milk and this weekend he will lose his IV

Timothy is also doing well - they think he will be off the CPAP by Monday and he is increasing his milk levels

A little bit of a setback over the weekend - Timothy needed a little extra flow on his CPAP today and Matthew isn't quite ready to go off the fluids yet -

In some cases a setback is just a step in a different right direction and this is one of those cases. slow and easy does it.

Boys are doing a little better today - Matt is losing his PICC line tonight and timothy has had an uneventful day while increasing his feeding.

How are you doing mentally? Are you bonding with your nurses? I talked our primary care folks like mental health professionals. They were amazing.

Its coming out and not coming back - he doesn't need it anymore!

ETA I misunderstood you - the PICC was for ease and because they need a good IV running for a few weeks constantly at the start

@elephantsonpatrol‌ so exciting to hear he's losing his PICC! As someone who knows nothing about twins and I'm not sure about if it was mentioned.. Will they likely go home at the same time (or is there a freaky-twin magic bonding/healing thing on keeping them together) or does it look like Matt may come home before? (As I write this I feel like maybe you said that was most likely a while ago..). I believe you said mid-jan seemed like a likely time they could head home? Is this still the case? One day at a time for sure but I can't wait for you to get them all to yourself!

2 weeks old today!

The doc said a couple weeks ago that if everything went smoothly, somewhere around where 36 weeks would have been -that's 1/17. He said definitely home by the Super Bowl. I think that still holds true for Matt, Timothy might be a week or two after Matt, but he might catch up.
