Instead of looking for a new job when we relocate, or staying home with the girls... what if I went back to school? I am good at my job, but I miss working with patients. And I am not really in a lucrative field.
Who was it that went back to PA school recently? Was that
@eve_angelique? How is that going? Any advice or suggestions?

I have a friend who is almost done with her PA program. It's intense, but if you can swing it with the girls, go for it!

I'm a big believer in continuing education to meet your professionals goals. And, I think it would be an awesome example to your girls to show them that mom went back to school to make a better future for herself and her family!

While I think it will be a challenge, it will pay off in the long run. Maybe in more money or a happier mommy, maybe both.
But honestly, if you think about how many years you have left in the world field, finding a job that will enhance your life is a good call. And on the other side, school is a good place to meet people, I know you said you struggle with making friends.

I loved the idea of being a PA and how versatile of a profession it is, but my passions might lie a little outside the PA realm.
I'm a huge lover of furthering your education and lifelong learning, so I definitely think you should look into it, especially if you got in before you should be able to again!

Okay I gotta ask, we don't have PA's in Canada, what is the difference between a PA and a nurse? I'm wondering if they are like our nurse practitioners.

I have to say it's a really rigorous coursework though. Thinking back, I don't know how I'd do it now with kids. Honestly, I don't know how any parents with little ones go back to school. I really admire them!
Please don't get upset about my next comments , I'm totally not trying to be a Debbie downer but if you have any sense of doubt in the back of your mind I wouldn't do it now, not while your kids are so young. And your DH has to be onboard 110% because he'd have to takeover a lot of your duties. There were countless nights I'd be studying like crazy even after a full day of class and it would be tough to miss out on time with your babies Imo.
But if anyone could take on something head on it's you TJ! You seem super determined in all you do.
