So I should have had our results from the Panorama test last week but they needed a redraw and I won't have the results until next week now. I had an OB appt today and they did the NT scan but didn't have any numbers to compare it to - however, the NT number was elevated greatly at 5.3mm - so I'm freaking out. I called our genetics counselor and she told me I have every reason to be freaking out, since that measurement is a 1:3 chance of a chromosome disorder. Didn't help put me at ease at all and likely made things worse. We lost the last baby to trisomy18. She offered that we could come in tomorrow and do a CVS testing and have the results the following day, but I'm just not ready to take that chance of miscarriage when we don't even have our panorama test results back. I'm freaking out to say the least and trying to stay positive as much a possible but I'm still worried. Has anyone experienced a high NT measurement like this and had everything turn out ok?

If it will give you peace of mind I'd do the CVS. Your other test results could take up to 10 days. CVS results are almost immediate.
You're in my thoughts.
I'll send up a prayer for you, hun. Please keep us updated!
They wanted to just do an extra scan since prior history. Panorama test should have been in by the time they did this scan but a redraw had to be done. Honestly, wish that they would've just cancelled the scan today since the results weren't in and waited.
Thank you all for positive thoughts!
@a5swanson my OB office automatically does both NT and Verifi as well, maybe just to complement and compare results?
IVF #1 - BFP (6dt)
Unassisted Pregnancy #2 - lost at 15w6d due to T21, severe heart defects, and fetal hydrops
The only reason we did it was because we had already been told our baby wouldn't survive due to fetal hydrops being noted during the nt scan and we wanted to see if we could get answers as to why. So the risk didn't really matter since it wouldn't change the end result in our situation.
I know the wait is hard and I hope you receive good news when you results come back. If you do decide to go through cvs, it really is very safe although it does come with a small risk, it was a bit uncomfortable, but I really appreciated receiving results in 24 hours.

I've never heard of a cvs sampling coming back the next day. The doctors told me there is absolutely no way to rush the test and it would take up to 2 weeks. It came about 8-9 days later!

I'm 33 and 13wks 1d today and had my NT sonogram at 12 wks 2d and my first trimester blood draw for hcg and Papp-a. My NT was normal as were my hcg levels. However, my Papp-a came back on the low (.39). They told me that my risk was 1 in 180 but that I shouldn't worry. They told me that they would be concerned if my risk was 1 in 50 or higher. I'm kinda freaking out but I know that many women get the same results and have perfectly healthy babies. My quad screening is scheduled for early January.
