In L&D after not good dr appt.**UPDATE

I Went to my evms (high risk) dr appt and my bp was high. First reading was 143/101 and 2nd reading was 152/106. He contacted my regular obgyn and both agreed I needed to go to L&D for possible induction at 36 weeks. So here I am sitting in L&D, my BP dropped down but is kinda elevating again. We are doing a 24hour urine collection and continued monitoring throughout today and tomorrow. At this time I am not being induced just here for overnight observation and go from there. Also at some point I am going in for a growth scan too to determine if vbac or cs is the best option.

Forgot to add but I also found out I tested positive for GBS so now they have to decide what antibiotics I will receive if I end up being induced. I am alergic to all of the cillans so those are out of the question.

Thanks y'all. We are hoping everything goes well and this is just a hiccup.... BP had dropped earlier and they were going to move me to an antepartum room within the L&D unit but out of nowhere BP jumped back up so I am stuck in an L&D room. It has dropped back down and was able to convince the dr. To allow me to be on a liquid diet meal instead of nothing for now. Growth scan of Miss Skylar should be tomorrow morning and should have results on 24hour urine tomorrow evening. I am curious at what % her weight is "estimating" at since back at 27 weeks she was in the 88%.

Just got back from growth scan. DD is measuring in the 85th percentile for her weight and is estimating at about 7lbs 3oz

I just finished my 24 hour urine test. Hopefully I will hear something by tomorrow. I had pre e with my second and I am pretty sure with this one as well

I am Out of the hospital and on modified bedrest. I am considered as having gestational hypertension/early stages mild pre-e. My 24 hour test came back elevated but low enough to be at home for a few days. Baby Skylar will be here sometime next week either scheduled before or after christmas. They want her delivered at 37 weeks. The growth scan showed everything was good overall but the tech was ROUGH with the ultrasound thing! Almost passed out due to baby laying on one of the arteries(?) so i had to flip on my side which helped.
