  • I love Starbuck's Carmel Apple Spice.  It is also caffeine free, but basically the only drink I get there.

  • And for the record I don't know OP personally, I have read the nicer "top" posts, I opened this thread because I wanted to, I shouldn't have to defend why I opened one thread over another, this is getting nit picky and annoying, go ahead, pick apart the things in my comment that bother you and completely ignore what I said to be true and the main and only point for posting anything at all, there was no reason to be so nasty, it's not the first time I've seen someone ask a general "what's your experience" type of question and the response was baffling, rude and just plain mean, I'd finally had enough of this and decided to comment, if you all must know. ok now your turn, go ahead and be mean to me now for stating my opinion, it seems to be the trend here instead of just talking and giving advice to or sharing experience with I one another
  • A. I did not call anyone an asshole specifically, no where in my comment did I tag anyone, i am not "name calling" (although I'm sure there was name calling on pages 1-3 that maybe I should have just reported instead of commenting) and b. I am aware of what a tragedy you are going through HP, I am incredibly sorry for your loss, and believe it or not, stranger to stranger, you have been in my thoughts and prayers, I can't even begin to imagine how you feel, and I'm terribly sorry for what you're going through and I don't have to know you and be apart of this to feel for you, you seem to have a huge support system here, it's very obvious that not everyone who browses these posts or comments holds the same level of respect you hold, but also, I was not talking to you either, again I did not "reply"to anything specifically that you posted, nor did I tag you in anyway, and if I choose to stay and browse that's my right, you all are so quick to defend those you know and say people can post what they want to but the second I say my piece (for the first time ever) I'm told to "be gone"? there were some truly nasty replies that were uncalled for completely, if you did not make them then you should know my comment does not refer to you, and I'm sorry but I don't feel it's my loss to try and be apart of this crowd, that's pretty much all OP was trying to do and look what happened, people pounced and made her feel like an idiot when they themselves didn't even have to open the thread to begin with

@jamiedolly - if you feel that the name calling was a TOU violation please report it.

Since you have been reading the boards you will also know I have had my hands full this week and I am just coming back and getting caught up.

  • Well thank you for thinking you know me well enough to decide where my right place is, all because I commented and stated that people were being rude when they were being rude. I called a duck a duck. I have seen some very supportive threads, and have found them helpful, just because I never commented doesn't mean I wasn't around, I'm tired of seeing the nasty and mean ones, you all had a right to comment as did I, and I have stated now three times that I had and have no interest in trying to fit in with the cool kids on this site, I came here for the information and to read of others experiences, but thank you for making me feel so welcome what I never directly attacked anyone like many of you did on this specific thread
  • @jaimedolley If you would check out the "Newbie/FTM" thread, there are almost 30 pages worth of advice/experiences there.  Check out the "Hodor 2.0". It has more information or what women are going through. This board has been very useful, BH question? I did a post where I compiled the most helpful threads and put them in one thread.  When a 3rd time mom is asking about labor experiences, why not just read all of the birth stories that are currently being posted. We have had lots of mommas with outside babies.  You are making judgements just the same, so pot meet kettle.

  • Black tea lemonade is my bish at Starbucks. I don't like coffee (I KNOW!!!) so I'm usually a chai drinker. Sbux chai is gross though. The strawberry frap with whip is amazing too. And the hot chocolate with whip. Mmmmmm.....Starbucks today!

  • I always get decaf nonfat with whip pepp mocha. I like the flavor of coffee but too much caffeine makes me feel icky.

As far as WKing goes...I have been called a white knight a few times. I don't mind voicing an unpopular opinion or defending another poster from time to time if I feel it's warranted.

That said, I believe there is a difference between voicing disagreement and attempting to dictate how others post.

If you disagree with what someone has said or how they have said it, you need to address it within that thread and with that poster.

Making broad generalizations and attempting to dictate to the board in general is ineffective, not to mention offensive and annoying.

I am asking because each pregnancy and labor is different. My 2 before this were very similar to each other. And this one is different. Why do I need to explain why I'm asking about everyone's experiences? I'm curious. That's why. There was no underlying question i had. I have read everyone's birth stories. Is it so wrong to ask for information? Why do you feel the need to tell me where to look when those things don't hold the answer I'm looking for? I asked a specific question. That's it. If you don't want to answer it then don't. But you have no right in trying to shame me to feel bad, ridiculous, or stupid for asking a very logical and informative question. If anyone is being judgemental, it's all of you who have had something negative to say about my post. Not me, and not the women who told you all off.
  • I missed the WK. So... I'm moving on... And saying...

Starbucks whipped cream is nasty. It leaves a film in your mouth that is hard to get rid of. Yuck. Also, you all know how I feel about Starbucks in general. I don't need to go down that road again.

    Starbucks hater.

I'm late to the party again, but: This. Exactly. The woes of living in in the sweet nowhere of rural Missouri. I want a white chocolate mocha frappuccino so damn bad right now.
  • @nedralynn- That's VT for you! Even if you're in Burlington, you're still miles away from many, many things that are common in other states! The closest fast food restaurant is 20 minutes from me, and I actually live in a fairly recognizable town. This has been both a blessing and a curse during the past nine months!!!

  • Our closest Starbucks is 30 minutes. We got a Walmart in 2008 (it isn't even a Super Center) and we have more fast food than anything any more. Our nicest restaurant is Bob Evans or Pizza Hut BUT we have 5 dollar stores and 5 car dealerships.

I know, also I do not like Burlington at all! I have a McDonald's, Shaws, Rite Aid, and a couple dollar stores.... thank goodnes for NH being so close!
  • I have no clue what a star kiss from DQ is, but I like a pink Starburst from Jamba Juice. It tastes just like a pink Starburst. I also like a white gummy bear and a PB&J from JJ. Essentially, I love every smoothie from the JJ's secret menu.

See you guys are plain mean bishes :( I forgot all about Jamba Juice and was fine with it until now.

It? You ladies lack real class. Yes, I checked in to see if there were any ACTUAL responses to my question. I am utterly disgusted that the world holds so many disgruntled women in one place. You are all shitty people. Despite a healthy pregnancy and delivery of a healthy child, I hope you all burn. YOU are the trolls. Go fuck yourselves. Each and every one of you. You make this so easy to say. Merry fucking christmas you rotten women.
