So I'm just going to take this a few folks at a time. Both boys are napping right now, so I probably only have 5.8 seconds of time to myself. Here goes...
@zaraceligion - I love your spirit! I love that you bring a unique perspective to the board. You aren't afraid to share a different approach, but you are also incredibly supportive. I really appreciate that about you!
@ITK - I adore your creativity. You really inspire me to branch out into new projects. I also admire your ability to unplug and your absolute refusal to compromise your standards. If I ever feel like I'm in a grey area, I ask myself what you would do. Seriously.
@violajack and @ovenrack and @flummadiddle85 and @supertinkerham You have each made me laugh at some time or another, and I am SO thankful for that (especially when N is being so very 2 or when L is not napping).
@Into+the+Kitty b/c you were my first bump crush. You gave me my first shout out. And you seem to be a very compassionate person. And you had a rocking pregnancy announcement.
@TJ1979 b/c we both have 2 little girls that are in CDs. And I often agree with your views and opinions on things. And b/c you put CJs on everything.
@Chickypoo2468 b/c you are very quick witted. And J is the cutest little boy ever.
@Rrrrrachel b/c your DS is soo squishy. And you called out the FL & CD science crazies.
@Mandmeesh b/c you take the time to read things and "Love it".
@stringy813 b/c I like your gifs and most your comments overall.
@nanabanana06 b/c of your awesome hair (not sure if it's still the same color or not?). Your vast knowledge of babywearing and car seats. And your dog gifs. And your TT stash!
Now I am going to cry in the corner b/c I did not get 1 single shout out.
I've only been on here for a couple of months, but I've learned so much from all of you, and I wish that I had found this board when I was getting started with my first. I don't want to be the new kid who over-shares, but it's been a very rough year and a lot of the joy has been sucked out of my pregnancy and new baby, so it's nice to have a place to be excited about things. Thank you all for making me laugh and being a bright spot in my day. I've especially enjoyed the advice and humor of TJ, Stringy, ElleBeDub, and Kelly 11235. And a bunch of other people, too- I'm still getting to know everyone. Thanks, everyone.
@abby8279 you are one tough mama! Seriously, you've been through so much and you are still around here making people smile. Yay for little girls in CD and for the BB love!
@abby8279 I'm praying for an awesome new year for you and your family. I always feel bad typing that B Abby bc you aren't one lol. @nanabanana06 I forgot u the other day. I'm also a fan of your hair and I love your great advice and the fact that you are going to school and taking care of those precious kids! Thanks for sharing your story about your ex when I was going thru my divorce. @Mapleme You just busted up into mother hood and said "I got this biotch!" Seriously, you CD, baby wear, breast feed, and run a bakery without batting an eye. Your cookies and hot sauce are amazing and I'm happy to call you my friend
Aww thanks girls. Can u believe it's been a year since I left him? I know I should've left him when Colton was young but having a daughter put it all into perspective. Would I want Harper to stay with an abusive husband? Of course not. I owed it to both my kids to get us out. It was the hardest thing I've ever done. I also conquered my fear of dialing 911. He didn't care about hurting me so I stopped caring if his ass went to jail.
@stoneycakes - I love your sense of humor. I miss that we aren't as mind-twinsie as we used to be. I don't know what happened. It's not you; it's me. But we'll always have cake. Or death.

Awww. I miss you, Jane! You're not around as much as you used to be so I never know if we're thinking the same thing anymore, but I bet we are!
I also feel that sacrificing brain cells to the care and feeding of an infant has compromised my ability to come up with witty commentary. I also blame him for my waist line, credit card bill, and the weather. It's a good thing he's cute.
@TJ1979 - Do you know how much I love that I can just randomly text you throughout the day when I need a shoulder, or an ear, or recipe help? You're like Dear Abby in my phone. I don't care if you are the catfish. I still big puffy heart you for so many reasons.
@CLLDLL - I love you for the sense of calm and serenity you always bring in your posts. I never (hardly ever) see you complain about anything, and that really inspires me to work harder on my own tendency to over-vent.
@Chickypoo2468 - I think I have aspired to be you since my earliest days on the CD board. I don't think you've ever shied away from something just because it seemed difficult. I think you're going to make an awesome Queen of the Commune one day!
@theultimateSAK - I love that you are such an amazing person but are so humble about it. I think I would be absolutely crackers trying to juggle four kids and food allergies and living so far away from doctors and grocery stores, but you always seem so together. Even when you're maybe not as together as you want to be, you are just so positive about everything. I love that!
@mapleme - For people from such different backgrounds, I really think IRL you and I would get along like a house on fire. I love your amazing generosity and the fact that you seemingly never tire of endless questions about food, mold, and sometimes even moldy food.
I know I still have more people to love, but the battery light on my brain is blinking. I better go recharge!
My addiction to this board increases everyday because it hits on all life issues, not just CD related or even kid related. However, I also like how the babies/kids are all different ages so there is BTDT advice and encouragement. This board just rocks!
Re: This is lame, but you know you love me...
You are both fabulous, gorgeous, sweet, and amazing B's.
Better?
