I thought I saw a post for this already but there's a good chance that was last weekend :-/

Anywho... What does everyone have going on? Anyone scrambling to get Christmas shopping done (which I haven't really started yet

)?

And I forgot to say what I'm doing because I'm a mess today lol

I'm in panic mode. You know how you plan a party and usually the rule of thumb is invite a shit load of people because half say no? Well, I did that for MH's birthday party tonight and everyone invited said yes #-o

Today I am really scrambling. My place isn't too big and there are 30+ people coming. Wtf am I going to do?? :-?

Still getting over being sick! I'm hoping I can actually get some substantial food in my system today.
Beyond that, I'm crossing my fingers that I can muster up the energy to do some vacuuming and then later on I'm going to watch Christmas movies while wrapping all of the presents.
Tomorrow is a cleaning day too, so I better be feeling better by then! I want to at least get some cleaning done before my husband is back in town!

I just got home from weekly breakfast w/my family. DH is at work, so I did a bit of cleaning, and now just hanging for awhile. I'm hoping to hit the gym this afternoon.

I'm done with most of my shopping, but I'll probably cruise amazon for $10 gifts for dirty santa with my grandma's family. Any suggestions? I need one guy gift and one girl gift.

@whitneyandconcep‌ everyone will be hammered so it should be ok. I opened the invitation for people to come early and pre-game so I probably won't care by the time the party starts haha

I love dirty Santa but HOW dirty??

@nikolie93 Definitely not dirty like fun dirty, more just stealing dirty. Last year the big hits were gift cards, a pellet gun, and a coffee mug with a gun handle. I'm not usually into getting gift cards, so I'm trying to find something cool that's not age specific. There are teens all the way through octogenarians in the game.

I'm relaxing this am. MH is working this weekend, so I'm going to hang out with my mom later and hopefully finish my Christmas shopping. I'm going to walk through my future new house tomorrow to go through everything and take measurements so I'll probably be dreaming about furniture

@nikiswimr I haven't gone all week, and with all my RE appointments next week, that's not looking much better. I'm living by the words of Too $hort, Get in where you fit in. Plus it's usually completely empty on Saturdays, which is my fave. Does it sound like I'm still trying to talk myself into going, because I totally am.

My DH and I have three christmas parties tonight! That never ever happens. I guess everyone liked this weekend this year. One is a housewarming holiday party which I think is such a cute idea. She requested no gifts on the invite but I'm about to go find a little something to bring. Ideas? Not sure they are huge drinkers. Needless to say the wine will be flowing for me tonight.

@catvaughn5002‌ I'm tired just thinking about 3 parties! And I always feel awkward when someone says "no gifts". Does that REALLY mean no gifts or does it mean "I want all the things but feel bad asking for them"? If you want to bring something maybe a bottle of wine, or since it's a housewarming party a gift certificate to bad, bath, and beyond or something?

The throwback food, like the pizza rolls ups, we're actually a hit... As well as everything on the bar lol

I even won cards against humanity!

I did get the "the miracle of childbirth" card and was like fffffuuuuuuuuuu
