Happy Friday everyone!

In response to @pitdigger DH's ring -- mine wears a $12 amazon special. Of course, it has been two years and he hasn't misplaced it once.

I just came back from Home Goods and I've come to the conclusion that I'm oficially a miserable pregnant lady. I have NO tolerance for rude people, I always kind of have to pee, and I'm not very mobile which is frustrating. I also wouldn't have had to go to Home Goods if my neighborhood didn't do the whole silly 'you've been Jingled' thing. Maybe I'll be more into it when we have children.

On the bright side our hospital tour is tomorrow morning!

I'm not having a good day. My mother is always bringing up my stomach, comparing it to pregnant women she works with. She lives in another state and is always asking me to send her pictures. I never do because she makes me so self conscience of it. I seriously got so mad when she told me the size my bump should be because she sees her coworker all day long who is due Jan 3. I know there's lots of women on here struggling with body image issues right now.. Whether it be "am I too small?" Or "am I too big?" I didn't post this to cause a problem. I just needed to vent this because it truly gets to me. Times like this I'm glad I live far away from family

aaaaaaand I just got my first shitty belly comment. Some woman in the elevator said, "you look like you're due on Christmas Day!" I said nope, late Feb. And she looked very worried and sucked air through her teeth and said, "Goodness, you're so BIG!"

and then i killed her. at least in my head. but really i cried when i got back to my office. i hate people.

We are going to a Chicago Style pizzeria tonight for dinner. I'm not that excited, it isn't really very GD friendly. DH on the other hand is out of his mind with joy that we finally have one here. @unconventionalatbest‌ have you been to Gino's East yet?

We have a friend staying the night and he wants to go outlet shopping tomorrow. The way I see it, that means we have to visit Carters. Sunday, we have two Christmas parties to go to. Apparently I have to bake brownies for one, and the other is a cookie swap so I'll be making 3 dozen cookies. I'm not really looking forward to any of it, none of this is fun when there is no wine.

DH just texte and he has to go to a work dinner. Ugh... Last time he went with these guys I didn't see him until 12am. Funny thing is its with guys my dad works with & they didn't know he was related to him last time. Now they've nicknamed him "Son-in-law" and requested his presence. Lol...

Trying not to look at the unopened moving boxes in the front room. I really really really want to unpack and clean but can't. Grrrr

DH is still on his biz trip. I'm planning on going to the mall myself to look for Christmas gifts for him and my aunt's family that live near me. I'm stressed over what to get them this year. Hopefully inspirations will come to me when I'm there.

A friend is having an early Christmas party tomorrow night. She wants guests to bring in desserts only and I got GD, I guess I should make something that I don't really care for so I'm not tempted.

'You've Been Jingled' is a thing some neighborhoods around here do where you drop a bag of goodies off at a neighbors, ring the doorbell, and run. You then have 24 hours to do the same for another neighbor. You hang something in your front window once you've been 'got.' There is something similar that goes on during Halloween.

Waiting at my OBs office in a room. It's ok to just lay on the table like it's a bed and Bump right? School has been crazy and the kids are over it and ready for break so I didn't mind getting to head out a little early to this appointment.

We get to do part 2 of our 3D/4D ultrasound tomorrow that my parents bought and get to see Oliver's sweet face!

I haven't even heard of it! Where is it? If there is a new pizza place, I need to be checking it out asap!

It is next to IHOP on I-45, where Bikini's was. The menu looks expensive, but really good.

Our crib mattress was supposed to arrive yesterday. It was understandably delayed due to weather.
Not-so-understandably it went from a facility 7 miles down the road to 350 miles down the state.
Makes sense. :-?

I got a nap today, Ella had such a good, cheerful day. DH is making Indian for dinner, and I am going to scrapbook and watch hockey and drink hot chocolate for the rest of the night while he writes a paper!!

We have our family Christmas morning on Sunday, I cannot wait.

DH leaves for Scotland for a work trip on Tuesday, Ella and I leave for Vancouver on Wednesday. He will meet us in Canada on Saturday!

I am finally starting to chill out and feel organized and I am loving it! Packing is half done, Ella's curtains will be hung this weekend, and hopefully we can get the decals up in the nursery, too.

Okay, it didn't take me long to realize that I do need to go there It does look pricey, but I will be convincing the husband that we need to go on a date there soon. We were planning on going back to Grimaldis in the next few weeks. Maybe we will go there instead. Let me know how it is!

We didn't make it. When my husband drove past at 3:30, it was already packed. He called and the wait was an hour and a half. If I have to wait that long, A: it won't be with a two year old, and B: I want bar access. We will probably try again in a few weeks, or maybe for lunch next weekend right as they open.
