Hair

Anyone else notice their leg hair stopped growing? I haven't shaved my legs in over two months and it look/feels like I did 2 days ago. I could get use to this. Now if all the other body hair areas could do the same.

  • Yeah I'm pretty sure my body hair doubled in my first pregnancy. That's why I'm so amused by this. Crazy how different peoples bodies react to pregnancy.

My body hair is growing more quickly than usual... but my hair on my head is growing more quickly and not falling out as much, so I feel like it evens out.

I wish... The hair on my body seems to be growing double time and in places it doesn't belong, whereas the hair on my head is falling out. What gives?

    Yup, every bit of this!

Yes. My leg hair isn't growing as much or as fast. I think its all moved to my pits. I also have 3 random beard hairs which are long and jet black. They got removed immediately.

  • Yes!! All my hair grows super slowly now. Weird! I shave my legs like 1x a week & it used to be stubble by 6 hr after my last shave.
  • I actually have noticed that I don't shed any hair now. I don't think I've had to pull hair out of my brush for a good month. That is super weird for me.

  • Yes! And although its nice not to have to shave as much. Im sad bc my hair has always grown fast, to the point that to keep my short hair i would have to get it cut every two weeks to keep ths style. I was planning to grow my hair out during this pregnancy but apparently my body has other plans. :(
  • I have more body hair in general my peach fuzz is even longer
  • Yes! Very strange, but I'm thankful to not be dealing with shaving my legs for a little while. The hair on my head isn't falling out anymore either - I used to lose a giant hairball every shower, now almost nothing. But as pp mentioned, I have developed some belly fuzz :-/
  • I never knew it was that common to lose hair on your head. But I noticed way more hair on my belly too like others mentioned. And of course my crotch and arm pits could be shaved twice a day. But I'm lazy and that does not get done as often as it should.

  • HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.....

    NO FAIR.
  • Yes! My leg hair used to grow by the hour! It has slowed down a lot!
  • I'm with @hetispaghetti - leg hair thinning, tummy hair growing, no change on head hair. :)
  • Leg hair slowing, everywhere else sprouting like dirty little weeds!! And the hair on my head I swear is just getting thicker, not longer. Its like any new growth is just going to make my hair that much thicker. Its damn near impossible to do anything with now. So irritating.
  • Yup I agree with this. Same thing with my first. Everyone had me convinced it was as we were having a boy saying they pinch all the hormones that make your hair grow. Clearly a load of rubbish as I had a girl. But same this time round. Saving me a fortune on leg waxing. Long may it continue
  • Nope. Hair growing every where here! First pregnancy my head hair got thicker and longer, everyone said it would eventually start thinning - it never did. Think it had to do with the prenatal vitamins. This pregnancy has been similar so far, crazy thick hair. Hormones are fun!
