13 weeks and some light spotting?? Anyone else?

Hi ladies, I am getting close to 14 weeks and I woke up this morning and found a little spotting, definitely less than a teaspoon. I called the doctor on call and they said my cervix is probably irritated, as I had a similar spotting issue at nine weeks and went to the ER and all amounted to nothing. However, I am completely freaking out and was wondering if anyone else has had you issues with spotting like I have? Any comfort would be appreciated… :-)

    If your doctor says you're okay, then you're ok. If you really don't trust your doctor that much you may want to look for a new one because birth is going to include a lot of depending on your doctor.

    I have had spotting throughout and I'm 14 Weeks. ER found a subchoronic hemmoraging which is common. Might just be irritated but wouldn't worry unless you are soaking pads and cramping severly. T & p to you

    I'm 16 weeks this Sunday and have had pink/tan spotting 3x this week. After the 2nd time I begged for an u/s. Baby boy was bouncing away! I have been constipated and I think the straining is what does it.

    I have some bleeding as well from the subchorionic hematoma. But the babies are fine. Bleeding is definitely scary!

    Thank you for your post. How did you know it was a subchronic hematoma? Did you see it in your ultrasound? It seems like the bleeding was minimal yesterday. I googled this hematoma and it looks like it might be what I'm experiencing. When I bled, it almost looked like a tiny clot/small amount of coagulated blood. I'm going to try and touch base with my doctor early next week just to check in (since she's not who I spoke to on the phone yesterday) just to be on the safe side!
