hey gals, i like this 5 minute exercise that I can do in my kitchen because it keeps me from feeling like I've done absolutely nothing all day. I've used it a few times and like it, so I thought I'd share. A friend shared this video way back and I saved the link so I can do it when I need a quick something. if you youtube similar exercises I'm sure there are tons. (just fyi I'm not promoting the specific barre 3 company from the vid. I've never taken a barre 3 class and really don't intend to)
Another 40mins of prenatal yoga today. I did this this video: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=44fYnoSLL3c And another 10minute session by the same person. I really like the instructor, her name is Lara Dutta.
I haven't worked out in a long time, but this post inspired me! Today I did 20min of Turbo Jam (it's a workout video). It was so much fun and I felt great after!
This is my first lunch and my second lunch from the other day. Yes, I'm eating two lunches of late. The first is chicken alfredo with whole wheat noodles and steamed broccoli.
The second is the one I really want to point out though. It's a spinach salad with avocado, cold deli ham, red, orange and green peppers, and cherry tomatoes.
Did you know: -I'm more likely to get listeriosis from the spinach than the deli meat. -Avocados contain vitamin B6, K and essential unsaturated fats for growing healthy babies. -Green peppers are not considered ripe and do not have the nutritional value of the red, yellow and orange peppers. -Ripe peppers contain vitamin A, potassium and more vitamin C than an orange.
Eat to fuel your babies ladies but don't feel bad for giving into an ice cream craving once in a while too.
I'm out this week, ladies. I have a sinus infection and bronchitis, and doctor is having me lay low. Really sad about this because I was planning to do some prenatal yoga with one of our fellow Bump girls. Will have to wait until I feel better.
But, as of now, here is my total= 240 minutes (four 60 min workouts) 600 - 240 = 360 min to go!
I don't think I've got a chance of making 600 minutes by the end of the month! I'm at a whopping total of 130 so far, haha. Total of 100 minutes last week - mostly walking on an incline on the treadmill, with a little bit of elliptical and stationary bike thrown in. And this week - 30 minutes on the treadmill, whomp whomp. We'll get those 75 prenatal yoga minutes next week, @lgsdesigner!

Friday sounds good to me! Here is my update: Monday 12/8 was 15 minutes run got too cold so did walk later indoors for 20 more minutes. Tuesday was a bust, blah Wednesday 12/10 was 40 minutes run/walk Thursday 12/11 was also a bust, boo. Today 12/12 went for a 30 minute walk this a.m. and 20 minute yoga session tonight. This extra fluid in wrists is killing how long I can do yoga lately. Though some of it is also due to adding more strengthening poses since time hasn't been on my side. Oh- so my total so far is 270 minutes. Will have 300 tomorrow with at least a half hour run.
