I have old stretch marks from DD, now with this pregnancy they are trying to extend and itch like a SOB. So far they have just barely started to get longer, but they are scabbing where they are stretching. So hot.

The ones I got with my daughter are there but still faded white/grey. I keep waiting for them to get pink again, but so far, they haven't, and no new ones have popped up.

@bkmama I have heard that as well. It wasn't my experience- I got them during pregnancy, but I have heard others say that theirs showed up after. I wouldn't have expected that.

I have them from my first. I honestly couldn't tell you which ones are old or new.

And like @robsbabygirl08 said, they are itchy as fuck.

SS...like others, i have them from my first pregnancy (my whole belly is covered

). so far, no new ones, but the edges of the old ones are looking a little pink and itch a lot, so i suspect they might extend a bit.

I have so many that I don't know if they came from this one or the last one- like @megan81112 said. I also didn't get any post birth. My mom has terrible stretch marks too, so I am not surprised I got them.

I put SS because I don't have any yet but according to my grandmother hers didn't show up until the last 3 weeks of her pregnancy, so they still might show up.

Very true! I answered "YES, like crazy" but technically they are from my last pregnancy. I haven't noticed any new ones yet but I was covered on my hips, and thighs down to my knees after DS was born (they are not huge but there are tons) the large ones were all there before I had him.

i have a small amount, all about 2-3 inches below my belly button. They bother me far less than I thought they would. I would be so pissed if I delivered with no stretchies, only to have them show up afterwards.

Yes, that happened to me last time, and this time they showed up around 28 weeks. They're not horrible but just two little patches below my belly button.

Thighs, hips, stomach, stomach for me. They're more so the ones that you can feel rather than see, which I think means they're deeper

I have several pink stretch marks on my left boob and a few white stretch marks on both sides of my stomach. I was not expecting to get any stretch marks on my boobs, just my stomach.

My belly is completely free of stretch marks. Unfortunately my hips are covered. I imagine I paid very close attention to my belly when applying moisturizer and not the same for my hips. I don't mind them so much now but when it's swimsuit time I feel I may change my mind. Oh well, I know she will be well worth it!

I have just a couple right now, but my mom and sister have them pretty bad. (They also have had 4 & 5 kids) So not sure when they got their worst ones. Im FTM and I also read that they show up after delivery. I'm thinking that will happen to me because the area around my belly button is VERY stretched out. So I'm pretty sure that's not going to be pretty after I deliver.

I don't have any yet from this pregnancy. I got a few on my lower belly when I was pg with DS but didn't notice them until later(postpartum.) They are not noticeable at all now.

I have existing stretch marks from gaining 40 pounds from anti-depressants (long ago lost that weight) but I can see a little red mark on 2 of them like they're growing. But otherwise nothing, yet. And those didn't show up until after I lost the weight, so I'm sure I won't realize the real damage until I'm back to my more normal body. Sigh.

I have a couple, one on either side of my belly. But also, the ones I got on my hips from puberty are starting to... extend? Not sure what they are doing, but the ends of them are pink.

It bothers me a little but not too much. It happens.

I want to add "knock on wood" to my no. I still have 7 more weeks to go - plenty of time for stretch marks to appear!! My mom has some, but she also had 3 kids, and I don't know if the stretch marks showed up with the first kid or later...

My stomach is covered in them, but they're from my first pregnancy so I voted SS. I think I may have added a few with my second, but 3rd and 4th pregnancies have not brought any new ones. They are very faded

I said yes a moderate amount but mine r only on my butt cheeks n my breasts lol.. I, so far, thank goodness, don't have any on my stomach... FX that sticks..

I have them but ONLY in one "column" on the inside of ONE boob. And there are a lot there. It looks quite strange.

I got approximately a million stretch marks on my belly when I was pregnant with DS1, and then they all faded. When I was pregnant with DS2, only a few of them darkened up again at the end. This time around, none of them have darkened yet!

With DD, I only got a few "tiger stripes" on my hips. My mom never got any stretch marks during all four pregnancies, so I thought maybe I'd get lucky too. Not so much. With this little boy, I'm carrying way out in front so my belly is huge. The bottom half of said belly looks like a friggin road map.

Yes!!!! You can totally get them after baby is born!! It happened to me! I got my first 3 stretch marks after I had DS2... Nothing from my first. And a couple more after DS3 and now with new baby almost here, I can't tell which are old or if I have a couple new ones! Ppffttt!!! I also have a belly button ring that I've managed to keep thru all of my pregnancies, but I have a fat ass stretch mark going up from it! U-G-L-Y!! Lol. I also have a hernia above my belly button that sticks out but I'm hoping when I get it fixed, they can do something about the fat belly button stretch mark!!

I have gotten a few new ones either side of my bbutton. And just above my pubic bone (surprise!)
I dont know about marks showing up after birth. Mine are always dark red/purple when new. And I would expect the stretching to be done after birth.... my lotion says keep using for 6 weeks postpartum though....

Yes, this is true! Last time I didn't have any until I gave birth and then there were loads, really dark pink, all over my belly. They took a while to fade but had completely gone after about 6 months.

None yet but I have a close friend that got hers the day before she had her baby and another who was stretch mark free until the week before. 7 weeks left - so I'm still holding out hope, but it is what it is.

Mine were flat, but on there. Now I have 2 or 3 that popped up like varicose veins and they hurt! Truly hoping that once the rest of the swelling goes, they will calm the heck down!

This is my first pregnancy. I don't have any new stretch marks so far. My stomach looks a little lighter in some places so it seems like I might get them. My old hip stretch marks look like they have gotten longer though

My stomach is a WAR ZONE of stretch marks from my last two kids and this pregnancy along with small scars from gall bladder removel in 2011, my recent appendix removal in october and my prior csection scar from my 2nd child. Dont forget the stretch marks on my boobs and one on my butt.
