Okay what journey this has all been. Podiatrist agreed that she should be braced. We will start with the most minimally invasive a walking brace. I have a follow up appt for Jan 6th to see if bracing her feet will help correct her tibial torsion and Femoral Anteversion. If it doesn't help at all we will come consider a different bracing methods. He thinks her hips themselves are fine it's just the orientation of her femur head in the hip joint that is off. So that's good.
Ortho on the other hand think it's her hip that is the most concerning and has referred her to Shriners...lol
Schriners got back to me and said that it is better to come sooner than later, so we will be making a trip to Minneapolis on Monday our appointment is Tuesday. They can't guarantee they'll do anything but the 2 things to be discussed will be if she needs casts for her feet and if she needs a hip brace.
I'm glad we will finally get to see a pediatric specialist. They got us in in exactly a week, so DH can use sick days to come with! Hoping we can get an even better game plan going.
Anyways here is PIP of the 2 Drs diagnosis. And PIP to be an AW!
