    Not sure if this is UO because all of my friends in college agreed with me but I HATE HATE HATE the Christmas Shoes song.  I want to stab my eyeballs whenever I hear it.

    Yes it is a sad story...yes I feel bad for the kid in the song...but once you hear it, it is stuck in your head for an eternity.  I had gone this long without hearing it until last night I heard all of three words on the radio and that was it.  It's nothing but Christmas Shoes in my brain.  GO AWAY CHRISTMAS SHOES.

    Team N'Sync, but I did love BSB too.  So no shade from me.  I've loved Justin Timberlake since his Mickey Mouse Club days.

    YES!!!! I noticed this when I looked up the lyrics doing a Christmas music research paper (in 12th grade). I was like....dafuq is this man trying to do?!?!

    So much better than N-Sync.

    I lived in Sweden when boy bands were just starting to get big and popular. There was a band called FIVE that I was beyond obsessed with.

    1st BFP- March 2011. Natural MC @ 8 weeks
    2nd BFP- July 2011.  Chemical Pregnancy
    3rd BFP- Sep 2011. My beautiful son was born May 2012.
    4th BFP-August 2014- Due May 12, 2015

    This is not an UO but maybe a UA - unpopular action. I was tired of not having ideas to give people at Christmas so I made a  pinterest board called "Presents for me". I pinned to it all year - hopefully it will be taken advantage of this year.

    I love giving gifts.  I love really thinking about the gift and maybe even surprising my husband, my son, my nieces or nephews on Christmas.  I don't find this time of year stressful at all.  It's like the thrill of the hunt, for me.  

    The idea of saying "everyone just buy your own gift" is so depressing to me.  It's like sucking some of  the magic out.  
    Agreed!  Finding the perfect gift for someone is one of my favorite parts of Christmas!

    Maybe this in itself is a UO--but I was in middle school when this was a thing and I couldn't tell the difference then, and I can't tell the difference now.  The only song I'm sure was from one and not the other is Backstreet's Back.  Or is it called Everybody?  I don't know.

    I was too busy creepin' on Leo. :x

    Shoot! I didn't even want to bring up NKOTB.  I was OBSESSED.  And I have to admit I still clean house to some NKOTB. I do love NKOTB more than N'Sync.  I'm with you there.

    @OnceInLoveWithAmy‌ I had trouble with only Marshal. I got them at a regional store called Meijer. I found him at the same box store but in a different town. Now the only one I don't have is Everest but I don't think she's available yet. He's not really much into toys and prefers "doing things" like play dough and blocks but he loves the show. I think he is going to like them for that reason alone. I hope they get him to pretend and make up stories more.

    Well, you are right about one thing... that is an unpopular opinion (I kid I kid)

    Confession:  I totally know the dance sequence to Everybody.  Don't hate.
    Confession II: the idea that there are people on this board who weren't teenagers when these groups were popular makes me feel super old.  


    How old must I be if I feel no connection to these groups because they came out AFTER I was in that demographic?

    I was just thinking this when I heard it on the radio today. I think it also sends the message that women are weak and just need to be "convinced" and/or drugged. NO.

    Hey! I remember them! I liked them too.
    I don't know why there was such a BSB vs. N'Sync rivalry back in the late 90's/early 2000's. I actually like a lot of stuff by N'Sync but I never "admitted" it as a teenager because of Boy Band loyalty. I swear it was a thing.

    But still... BSB FTW!!image

    @sarahchrismck my son may or may not have the same name as one of the members of Westlife. He's not technically named after him, but I did like the name because of the guy. :D

    I was OBSESSED with BSB!! I actually played some of their songs for DD (she's really into music) and she loved it! But I think I'm in the minority-I loved N Sync too-just not as much

    @OnceInLoveWithAmy‌ yes, they added another dog. Apparently there were things said about the male/female ratio by parents online and they added another dog. I haven't seen any of those episodes yet but she is a Husky.

    I still round down to 2000 as being the "present" when I'm trying to figure out when stuff happened.  So basically since middle school everything happened yesterday.  Which is what it feels like, TBH.

    She only does shit in the snow when they are out in their giant Paw bus or whatever it is called. I don't think she is in the lookout ever. I feel bad for Zuma. Dude never gets any action. Freaking Chase is always on the case. Hello we have 17 episodes of Paw Patrol in the dvr currently.
    I don't know why but this seriously almost made me spit out my drink. DD loves Paw Patrol but I haven't seen any new ones since we canceled satellite.
