    Well sorry that your friends and family are so cheap but mine wouldn't have a problem with this. Showers are expensive and this is a right of passage for ANY woman and its shitty you guys cant see that.

    Exactly. Its pretty much the same thing. People paid almost $10 a drink at my wedding, so I don't see why they wouldn't pay $5 for food AND drinks at my shower.

    *We had cash bar at my shower.. other than what was provided in the "Cigar & Cognac" lounge. No way my friends/family were going to pay for folks to get wasted too. After all, it is a classy shower. Being drunk is just tacky.

    Wow really? You don't know my friends and family. But whatever. It's not about them being cheap, it's about demanding they pay to get in the door AND bring a gift. I'm going to call tacky on that one (and I usually don't throw that term around much on here).
    Judging from your attitude I doubt you have that many friends anyways. So I take your opinion as a grain of salt. And no one is DEMANDING, they can say no, its not like they HAVE to come. Free will people. Cmon.

    My mom and sister threw me a shower and one of the decorations they did was hang really adorable baby girl outfits in the windows. They were all different sizes up to 18 months I think.

    @chicagojackie‌ that sounds awesome!!! I will be so tempted to grab a few myself. I should be able to at least have one at my shower. Maybe we should do a chugging contest and the first to finish wins the beer. I will have everyone beat on that.

    Which, great theme idea, why don't you do a coed holiday theme baby shower like with gingerbread houses to decorate and dreidel and make your own stockings? All the holiday stuff is on sale at Michaels!
