Is it hot in here or...?

Ok I thought it was an isolated incident, but now it's the fourth day in the row and I'm so hot at night! I have my window open (it's winter outside), summer PJs, light blankets and yet so sweaty! I read it could be hot flashes, anyone else experiencing this?

I have been getting random hot flashes since I got pregnant. I think they have to do with hormone surges. They suck though! No wonder women going through menopause get so cranky sometimes!

Welcome to my world. I've seemed to have lucked out and been pregnant both times during the winter. I can't imagine being like this in the summer. I'd die.

Sometimes I get hot while sleeping and I uncover then I wake up freezing. With my last pregnancy I would sleep in a sports bra and underwear because I was so hot.

I feel the same exact way. I start sweating even when I'm doing the simplest of things like washing dishes, vacuuming, & folding clothes. I almost always wear shorts & a tee shirt but it doesn't matter what I wear.. I'm always burning up. Some nights, I sleep with the air conditioning on with just a sheet.

I'm the opposite. I feel like I'm always freezing. I feel bad for baby because at least once a day I'm shivering like crazy. Usually right after I come in from being out in the cold. It's 46 degrees here right now but it feel likes 20 to me. I feel like I'm shaking the baby up in there from shivering!

Me too! Especially in first trimester, but still randomly. And always in the car. Every car ride with DH is a struggle since he doesn't appreciate my opening the car windows in 30 degree weather lol

I Always sleep with fan on/window open, & yes it's winter here in north eastern pa. I also did this with my first child.. Very normal, sucks!

I stay hot, I have been riding with my windows down everyday and it's like 40 degrees. At night I sleep in a t-shirt with no covers, I put our heat on 65 degrees but DH keeps turning it up. I am always hot and sweaty!!

I was a sweaty beast my first pregnancy. I was hot- all.the.time. I would wear tank tops in the freezing rain. People looked at me like I was crazy. This pregnancy is the exact opposite.

I normally run cold and always bundle up. Not this winter! I go out without a coat, turn the air on in the car, and sleep with only sheets. So unlike me!

I completely expected to be running hot, too, especially since I get warm easily. Strangely though, I've been colder than usual for the most part. Pregnancy is weird.

My dd has it too. She hated to be swaddled and couldn't stand the ergo because of her hot nature. Now, when you put socks and shoes on her, she throws a raging fit. And I agree with her!

My feet are always hot. I sleep with a normal blanket but with my feet sticking out the sides. Some nights my feet are so burning hot, I can't sleep. Blegh!
