Diaper Bag Idea: Genius or Idiotic?

So I was re-stocking my diaper bag and going through all sorts of plastic bags when I had a light bulb moment. Why don't I just use the dog sh*t bags? They come in a tight little roll and should be big enough for a gross diaper or some dirty clothes. (at least for now, right?) It would save space compared to my current tightly-wadded plastic bag situation.

I thought I'd share the idea in case it's a really good one. Apologies if it is a.) actually really stupid or b.) something everyone already knows and I'm late to the party.

  • That's what I have in my diaper bag :)

  • They make a roll for diaper bags that is almost identical to the doggie bags. I have one that clips onto the outside of the bag. The dog bags would work just fine, so I say...
    GENIUS!

I bet this is the same one I have.

Get them at target...they're super cheap and very convenient.

  • I use those bags too! Perfect for diapers and a place to put clothes that are dirty while we are out!

  • Our hospital gave us a roll and a little dispenser that clips to the diaper bag. I was CD'ing at the time and now I can't find it. :( it's a really good idea though!
  • Genius. I only plan on using the thick doggie bags though. I'd be afraid the thin ones wouldn't hold his super poopy diapers
