The bf and I need lube. So what is a good TTCin lube? I have read mixed things on olive oil and coconut oil. In short, the last time I used preseed it burned my skin. Any input ladies?
Oh no, we are waiting but I have a lot of issues with chemicals and my lady parts so I'm wanting to find one that works well before we actually start TTCing which will be in a year. I get chemical burns from some baby wipes even so I need plenty of time just in case.
When we were actively TTC my husband and I used Pre-Seed. It worked well and I got pregnant on the first try... If you do use it though, I suggest using a smaller amount than suggested. It was just way too much for us!
Preseed is excellent. We've continued using it even after BFP because it feels natural. It's expensive though. We never used the applicators. I got pregnant first try.
Do not put any oil in your vagina. I've heard of people using coconut and jojoba. It can get trapped in skin folds, go rancid, and cause all sorts of issues. It also will not wash off easily because oil repels water. Just no, no, no. I am surprised others are saying to use it. You want something water based!!!
I am a big time naturalist. I make my own bath products and absolutely love coconut oil. There are no synthetic chemicals in my house, except perhaps the pre-seed Coconut oil is a life saver during pregnancy when your skin feels so tight and itchy, it also is amazing for skin cleansing and cooking. It would also be fine for exterior dryness as a moisturizer. Do not use it inside of your lady parts!!
Pressed burns the inside of my lady parts. Also I've been researching coconut oil and its recommended by IVF specialists for lube. Its said that its sperm friendly and it doesn't cause the issues most other oils do. Plus I have severe dry skin due to my diabetes so I'm always using some kind of oil or moisturizer. That's a win/win to me!
