Yes. I have an older brother (full sibling) and a younger sister (half sibling). Honestly, I like my sister more because we are similar and we make each other laugh, BUT I adore my brother even though he is a handful. ::just teared up:: Damn you Christmas music! ::shakes fist at sky::
ETA the old man is our dad. ETA #2: I had another younger sister, who was older than this sister...she passed many years ago. #badamjoy ::slaps own hand::
I have a younger brother (10.5 months younger) and a younger sister (7 years). I like them equally but have more to do with my sister.
My brother and his fiancé
My little sister
me, my 7 years older than me sis, and my 10 years older than me sis.
I get along with both for different reasons. the middle one is a little to sensitive for my liking....it is a good quality to have but it just makes us fight way more than needed so I get anxiety if we have plans...however she is really silly so we laugh a lot too...basically we fight or laugh.
The oldest one our personalities are the most similar so we really "understand" each other. but when we fight its claws out. we are both pretty stubborn. however we are more likely to get along than me and my other sister and we can have "real" conversations without worrying about offending the other and I really appreciate that.
Since they are so much older than me though they are BEST FRIENDS. they are a lot closer than I am with either of them. We all consider each other best friends, but their bond is deft stronger.
somewhat related side note: I wouldn't trade having 2 sisters only for anything. I love them dearly. but I will not lie I am TERRIFIED of having another girl (3 total girls). I have been doing a lot of soul searching about this....should we stop at two? should we keep going (we really want 3-4 kids....3 is more realistic $ wise)? my current outlook: all I know is 3 girls - I bet I will do one heck of a job raising them and watching out for signs, my mom only has 1 sister and they cannot stand each other....and I cannot imagine hating either of my sisters....maybe 3 keep you in line better? #yearstothinkaboutit #butitisonmymind
3 brothers and 1 sister. I met my sister once and 1 of my brothers I have never met. My oldest brother I guess is my fave. All my siblings are half or step siblings.
according to FB, this is the most recent picture i took with my brother, 2.5 years ago. he's on the left (blue) i'm in yellow..you can probably guess the others? dd was 6 months at the time, his son was 3mos.
my brother is 5yo older than me and he does not make very smart choices, so we are not as close as we could be. i get very tired watching his life decisions.
One half-brother (same dad) that is in his mid-40s. One evil hag step-sister (also in her mid-40s) and one step-brother that passed away back in 2006 (would've been 41 last month).
ETA: I'm 30, so I never developed much of a bond due to the age difference and either didn't live with them at all or for a very short period of time.

My little sister passed away 10 years ago in an accident right after she moved away to grad school. The night before the accident we talked on the phone for 3 hours about nothing in particular, we were just catching up. I miss her all the time but I am so glad I had that opportunity to talk to her one last time. Also, if DS had been a girl he would of been named after my sister.

The dog. I die.
he is usually not this well behaved! he did perfect for the photo op.
One half brother (10 years older) and one sister (22 months younger). They both make some pretty *interesting* decisions and we all live in different places now so we don't see each other much.
2 younger brothers (2 & 8 years younger). We are all close, but I'm closer to the youngest one. They are both pretty outstanding people.
Curly haired kid all the way left is the youngest one and the tall fist pumping guy is the older one. I have better pictures of them but I love this one.
I have 2 older sister 18 years difference between us they are 49 years old. My older brother was 10 years older than me, he passed away when I was 15. I have a younger half brother, I don't really have a relationship with him (same dad) He is 7 years younger than me, he is 24. I also have a stepsister, who I haven't spoken too in years. We were 13 months apart. my father divorced her mother before he passed away, the smartest thing he has ever done!!
I grew up living with a couple of my half siblings for a few years sis(18 years older) bro 1 (16 years older) and bro 2 (20 years older) only my oldest brother is still living but we were never close. I talk to my niece (sisters daughter) often though, she's 25 so pretty close in age.

I have a sister who is 10 years older then me. We've never shared that close sisterly bond, she was more like a second mom. We are complete opposites in so many ways, and have very little in common. I'm not too fond of my brother-in-law and unfortunately she's just like him now. We aren't unfriendly though, just not that close.
Just one sister. She's 2.5 years younger and we're very close, and for the most part have been our whole lives. We share friends, interests, etc. She recently moved here to be closer (used to live 5 hours away) to us and especially DD. I see her about 1-2 times a week.
Some people think we look a lot alike and others can't see a resemblance at all. It probably doesn't help that she's a lot taller and has dark hair, but our features are somewhat similar
DD is her twin, especially if you look at pics of my sis as a baby.
I have an older step sister (step-mom's daughter), a younger half brother that is my bio dad and step mom's, a younger step brother (step dad's son), and a 5 year old half brother from my mom.
I have two bio sisters (2.5 and 5yrs younger) and a step sis and step bro on moms side and two step bros and a stepsis on dads side. my sisters and I are really close--same with stepsibs on moms side. Not close at all to the ones on dads side. Well say hi if we see each other, but that's rare.
@Amjoy25 lol, I totally left the brother in laws out. DH has 4 brothers and a sister. So that's where my sister in laws come into play. I only have one sister

Pic is me, DH, sisters and BIL.
I have a younger sister and a younger brother. Both are 5.5 years younger than me. My sister is older than my brother by 9 or 12 minutes; I can't remember which.
I have 3 younger siblings... 1 brother 2 yrs younger than me, 1 sister 4 yrs younger than me, and 1 sister 10 yrs younger than me. We're all fairly close but it's hard because we only see each other a few times a year since we are scattered. Actually, we've seen each other quite a bit since DS was born. It's been really nice.
I also have 2 brothers-in-law (1 is DH's bro, 1 is my aister's husband) and 1 sister-in-law (DH's sister)
I have a younger half brother (24) & a half sister (13). They're my dad & stepmother's kids so I didn't really grow up with them so we're not close at all. It sucks a little but it is what it is. I moved cross country when my sister was 2 so I wasn't around at all for her growing up & she's a huge spoiled brat. I have a new phone so I don't have any pictures right now.
