I can't remember how long I've been on here, but I guess I'm not a newbie anymore? I'll miss participating in this board, but thanks for all of the support. Thank you especially, @rslh10
Nothing really new for me. My AF ended on Friday and now I'm just waiting until O time so we can TTC again.
I posted on the main board that my little sister got engaged over the weekend, so I'm very excited about that and very happy for her. She wants to get married in the fall, which may cause a conflict if I get pregnant again, but I'm done planning my life around weddings and other events (tried that twice and it blew up in my face).

"Everybody here has got a story to tell. Everybody's been through their own hell. There's nothing too special about getting hurt, but getting over it that takes the work. Because one way or another, we all need each other. Nothing's going to turn out the way you thought it would. Friends and lovers, don't you duck and cover because everything comes out the way it should in the end." -Glen Phillips, "Duck and Cover"
I'm feeling a bit sick. Had to be on antibiotics for dental surgery last week and as a result, I'm sick. I'm soooo sick of hearing and seeing people on my local FB group whining about being too old to have kids at 32. I'm 30 fucking 8 and I'm still holding out hope. It's SO frustrating. /vent.
I'm so sorry you got sick from antibiotics! Blerg! When it rains it pours. I don't have a Facebook (thank god) so I can only recommend deactivating it to help with all of that stuff. I deactivated mine, and it may have been the best thing I've ever done! ((hugs)) lady!
I'm also past the one month time limit (hard to believe it's been two months since my loss) so am also waving goodbye. But I just wanted to stop by one last time to thank you @rslh10 for everything that you do for this check in and making myself and all the rest of the newbies feel so welcome!
:-* Thank you Lady!!! You will be missed. I will see you on the main board.

^^^ how true of anyone who complains about being pregnant , my sister has done this through her entire pregnancy. :-( I made a decision last night if I conceive again I will never post anything on facebook. You don't know what other women are going through and how bad it can stir up feelings.
This past week has been tough. Telling everyone we told we were expecting has been especially hard. I also found out who really are your true friends. We basically told close close friends and immediate family members about the pregnancy. One of my friends (semi close) husband lost his job. She reached out to me this weekend asking why I haven't said anything to her or send condolences to which I replied "look im sorry but I loss my baby and my issues are far more important than what you're going through right now" to which she said, you're a liar and if it's true that I deserved it.
Let's just say i promptly deleted her from all social media and erased her number and I will never speak to her again. /rant
It's been a shitty week.
How appropriate of a quote:
I think a lot of people don't understand the unintentional pain that can be caused from an AL lady reading an innocent statement that they might post on FB. KWIM?
I'm sorry your friend said those things to you. That is awful. I wish that she would have come to you in a different way about her feelings. ((Hugs))
i shall miss you too @rslh10 but ok ok before i leave i have a question(couldnt get rid of me that easy lol) ok so us newbies, as we venture out, say we get a BFP...what is protocol cause i know its rude to just leave and go to pgal or bmb without saying bye but its also rude if you're not too well known to post a BFP thread! has there ever been like one thread where some of the lesser known people can post BFP if they dont want to be an AW and start a thread of their own but they dont want to be rude and quietly dip out either? cause honestly if i ever got one i was just gonna PM you so that at least SOMEONE knew so as to not be rude ya know?
Okay, so per the blog:
"If you have been on the board for only 3 or 4 months, you probably should just intro on PgAL without posting your BFP on TTCAL. Let your check-in leader announce for you.
If you have been an active member of the board for 5 or 6 months then do some soul searching before your post. If you truly are an active member, your BFP will probably be well received."
I would just PM me, I will announce it, and from there I would intro on PgAL and thank the TTCAL ladies appropriately. There is nothing worse than someone who goes to PgAL and says they are from TTCAL, and we're all over here like...
Let's just say this....I have seen many ladies go to PgAL whom I very much expected to post a BFP on the main board, and they didn't. I would stick with PM'ing your check-in leader! (I will always be your check in leader! haha! And I will announce it in here)
Does this answer your question ladies?
@negritos@agpjt413
ETA- you could also join your EDD check in and tell that check in leader, too. If you guys still want to be part of a check in
I am new to TTCAL. I posted an intro on the main board last week. I lost my daughter Grace at 17 weeks on November 17 after my water broke. It appears that 17 is a very unlucky number for me.
I came back to work today after taking 3 weeks off. So far so good I guess. I had this plan of tackling all my emails - I thought it would take me most of the day. But in only took about 2 hours, so now the day is just dragging by.
My next step is an appointment with a high risk MFM doctor at the end of the month. I'll see what she says before I start thinking about ttc again.
I guess that's it for today. Just feeling kinda blah.
Oh Lady I'm so sorry you feel blah. so many ((hugs)). Welcome to the check in, and I'm so sorry for your loss. I hope that the rest of your day went quickly, and you were able to get home and relax. I will be looking forward to hearing about your MFM appt. more ((hugs))!
