    So it looks like I'm out for IUI this month. I went in for monitoring this morning and my ultrasound came up with no mature follies. But all of my bloodwork came up as positive for ovulation so they think we just missed it by a day or so. I have to go back tomorrow morning for bloodwork again and my actual Dr will review everything and decide what to do for next month (the nurse I spoke with mentioned monitoring on day 9). 

    Sad and feeling like we could've done more BDing to increase our chances.

    Thanks @BlueFairy5‌. Today is CD12. Hopefully, once my RE looks at everything tomorrow (today I was monitored by a fellow and everything was reviewed by another RE in the practice) it will all become more clear and we can concentrate on next cycle.

    I'm trying to find a silver lining to this and I think you hit the nail on the head that I will be monitored earlier and maybe little more closely next cycle. Plus, if this cycle is shorter, I may be able to get the next cycle IUI in before 2015 which means insurance will cover more in cash and it won't hit my deductible. 

     Yay for NYC neighbors!! :smiley:

    (I mean... more importantly, I hope I'm not about to keel over.  That would be inconvenient.)
    ETA: Yep, no 5th day of clomid and I have to go in early Sunday, instead of Monday. :(

    I am sorry to hear about this happening to you. This same thing happened to me this cycle except that I was on the highest dose of Gonal F. So now 2500 down the drain. And I will probably get a cyst now because I had a follicle measuring 16 on my Lt ovary at the time of ultrasound. Rt ovary had the follicle that had released the egg. I am hoping that the 16 follie will just go away? I have no idea how that works but I know I am having pain on that side still.

    Anyway, I will be calling my Dr tomorrow and I hope you do too. I am so upset and I think the RE staff are jackasses at this point and I don't know if I want to stay there.

    This whole IF thing sucks big time and I would never wish it on anyone including my worst enemy. Hang in there! :)

    @RN1175‌ that is awful and I am so sorry you have to go thru it. I agree that this truly sucks!!

    CupcakecutieRN My RE recommended taking Baby Aspirin on my monitoring appointment to increase my lining. It has to do with the increase of blood flow. I went from 5.5 to 7.6. Sorry I can't remember the difference in time frame but I was able to proceed with IUI. With my RE if the lining is below a certain number they cancel the IUI. No point in wasting the IUI if your lining isn't going to support the pregnancy.

    My RE was also the one who suggested having my husband drink a red bull 30mins - 1 hour before collection to increase his count. For IUI/IVF when the count doesn't come back as high as they want they recommend the guys drink it and come back in 2 hours.  On our 2nd IUI our count did come back higher.

    Ladies who are on progesterone suppositories, I have a ?...I'm wearing a panty liner but just noticed some very light pink w/the progesterone when I went to the bathroom this morning after I put in the progesterone. DH and I had sex on Saturday night so don't think it's from irritation. Yesterday's progesterone was normal. With my other IUI's I've never seen this, has this happened to anyone?

    This didn't happen to me but one of the nurses at my RE office told me that progesterone supps can irritate the cervix which would cause spotting. So I think this is normal. But maybe call your nurse to let them know.

    Better news from my RE today after a blood draw this morning. My progesterone level was a 3, which he said indicated that I ovulated -- but probably later than we thought. Since we did a hail mary BD last night, we might have timed it perfectly. He actually went as far as to say I should watch my diet and alcohol intake over the next two weeks and come in for a beta on the 22nd. 

    Feeling a little better about things, but still disapointed that we didn't get to go through with the IUI and that I never did get to see a strong follie. Next month we will monitor on day 10.

    Thanks @deelopi9‌ , we tried the red bull and I had two cups of red raspberry tea, I have also been sick so I was on mucinex too figured it wouldn't hurt anything. Mh count was worse this time around 1.28million with 56% mot. We weren't able to dtd last night, I honestly think he was too bummed about the stupid Browns and his count. I keep pushing the fact that it takes one sperm and one egg. Yay for the start of tww. I did take a preg test to test out my trigger. It was cool finally seeing the double line now if only we can make it stick. The RN said she tells people to wait 17 days; which would be the 24th, she said it should be out of my system in 12 days if I can't wait. Lol. Thank goodness for all of the woldfo tests.

    It happened to me.  Well, there was like a light pink tint to some mucus discharge.
