  • Thanks @RQuinlin‌. Wow I couldn't imagine hitting it so hard to leave a bruise! This definitely wasn't that hard. I think what worried me so much initially was just not feeling her much after that. I know it was silly to worry but I'm glad I have all you mamas helping me out :)

I bruise pretty easy, always have. I'm also a klutz. So, yeah, I get bruises.
Oh girl I'm a huuuuuge klutz, and get bruises on my legs all the time from bumping stuff, I just haven't bruised on my bump. Yet. Haha.
  • So, let me preface this by saying that I'm not a superstitious person. That being said, I was standing in line at the grocery store yesterday and they had a display of Magic 8 Balls. I picked one up, asked, "Will this baby be healthy?" then shook it. It came back with "Definitely not." I laughed, then picked up a new Magic 8 ball to try again. Same question. Same answer.

Ladies, I tried 12 different times. Same question, always a variation of the same answer-- No.

I shook it off, paid, left and then sat in my car and thought about the statistical odds that a stupid Magic 8 Ball would answer negatively 12 times in a row.

Can't stop thinking about it now.

Awww, I hate that that has gotten to you. In my mind, the 8 ball is a toy and has no bearing on your baby's health. Everything's been healthy so far, right? Just focus on that. Are you seeing your OB again soon? Try not to worry.
  • @EmpireRecords24‌ :(. One of those things that you know is silly but would totally wig me out anyway. Hopefully you feel better about it soon and it's just a funny story to tell someday.

  • @jnowosielski‌ That looks great!! I can't wait to see it all done up. :)

@gdamore11‌ Well, try not to stress. The best time to sell or buy a home is in late spring/summer, anyways

@healthyfor2 I don't think you could have possibly had enough force to do anything of consequence in that situation. Try to relax. If you feel movement, then all is well. But you can always call ob for some reassurance!

@EmpireRecords24 Sorry about the Magic 8 ball stress. Did you try any other questions/did it answer in a positive way for anything else? Try not to worry. Your baby is happy and healthy, so keep focusing on the positives and send that negative mojo away! Screw superstitions, lol. ;)
