Spotting after PAP?

I had my PAP yesterday, first DR visit to confirm pregnancy. I'm 6 weeks 4 days. Went to bathroom and when I wiped I noticed a light pink on the toliet paper nothing in my panties. Happened around 10am, just went to the bathroom and same thing happened, much less this time and even lighter pink? Is it possible that this is from the PAP and Pelvic Exam? Nerve racking as this didn't happen with my first child. I have no cramping or anything.

I've had many PAPS and I don't think I've ever spotted after one.

Thank You! I'm freaking out a little because I didn't have it with my first pregnancy and EVERYTHING about this one is different, no M/S like last time, just bloated, sore boobs and FREEZING!!!

Don't worry, it's completely normal. My doc said you can spot after sex and after paps and it's normal. Especially if there's no pain.

It's completely normal to have spotting after a Pap if you're pregnant. It's weird your doctor didn't mention that to you.

My doctor assured me it was completely normal. I actually start bleeding after she did the 2nd swab. She said during pregnancy your cervix has much more blood flow than normal and thats what can cause it.
