We went to see Santa this morning since I really need to get my Christmas cards made, and A didn't cry! I thought for sure he was going to have an epic meltdown but he didn't. Santa told dh he wished all the kids say so nicely. Lol. Of course, A had a major meltdown 5 mins later.
Dh just left for the night (he's working the ACC championship) and I'm actually excited to starfish the crap out of the bed tonight.
For us, we put one of LOs (and whoever else wants to join in) boots (more loot than in a shoe!) in front of the door in the evening, and then *presto!* there are goodies in there once Saint Nikolas has passed by.
As kids, we used to have clementines, walnuts, chocolates, and a small toy or two.
But from what I've been reading from some J13 ladies, stockings are also an option.
I love that all you guys are getting the spin brush. It gives me all the fuzzy feels. :x @econmama@lizabethann06@EagleWife@ramy3
Grace just ran in and gave me kisses from the stuffed puppy she's been wagging and making out with. I thought aw how sweet puppy kisses from mommy.
Yea. Big booger right on my lips. Gag
My name is @Casey78, and I"m a lemming. I just ordered mine as well. $18 with the amazon coupon. I'll give it 2 weeks, @biggunsbo. 2 weeks.
Casey, we are in this together. DH bets I won't make it five consecutive days before giving up
Methinks we need a daily check-in thread. We can do this! *-:)
I got the thing at my grocery store while waiting for the amoxicillin to be mixed at their pharmacy. I also got the soap that our Fairy Skin Mother recommended. (Can we get you a badge, @biggunsbo?)
I'm going to wait until later to try it in case my face explodes... at least I can sleep it off
@gutsymama That grinch is horrifying. I wouldn't have went anywhere near it.
@HannahAlex I love the name Viggo! I feel like it's too out there though so I wouldn't use it.
I'm finally home after a long day of shopping, seeing Santa, and going to my niece's baby shower. Despite P sleeping all night, I slept like crap. I put on sweatpants and a tshirt and now I rally want to take a nap.
BTW- We had success with Santa Couldn't get a smile, but he didn't cry!

I'm embarrassed to say that some of these aren't that bad. I like Aggie (as a nickname for agatha?) and Albin, and Posey is kind of cute.
My husband's cousin is named Aggie, nicknamed for the Italian name Agnese which is beautiful when pronounced correctly. She totally owns the name and it suits her (she's awesome).

DH and I are off to an impromptu date night. We were initially planning on dropping LO off at my parents after her nap, watch a movie, perhaps grab some froyo if time permitted, and then pick LO up just in time for her bath and bedtime routine.
My mom texted saying to stay out as long as we please and she will take LO back to our house, give her a bath, and put her down for the night. Ummm, ok!!!
So we're going out for a movie, then dinner at a hibachi restaurant, and grab some froyo for dessert.
:-h Crazy day at work! I said Happy Holidays to a client of mine and he said "We say Merry Christmas in these parts. None of that politico mumbo jumbo stuff." I wanted to tell him to blow it out his blow hole but I refrained.
We visited with Santa earlier - Claire was not impressed. It was at a local fire station. There was a raffle at the event - I entered and won something. Curious to see what it is
Poor Ben has been off all day. He had a temp of 101.5 this morning. I gave Motrin and it came down. He was warm when we got home tonight, and I took his temp again. 103.8. He's sleeping, but I hate it when he is sicker than just having the sniffles. I also hope he sleeps well. For his sake and mine.
Oh I forgot maybe this should be in toddler problem solving...
We stopped by the library to drop off A's overdue book in the book drop. He cried when I took it away, but it had to go back to avoid a fine.
Half an hour later, we return to the library (S wanted to go and I relented given the Christmas tree thing.)
A's book had been reshelved right on top. He ran up to it, grabbed it, and grinned. So of course we checked it out. At our house a month, back at libe for 40 minutes, and out to us again!!!
It's been such a long day and we have another long one tomorrow. God help me.
DD fell down a couple stairs today. she's ok just wasn't happy about it. Lucky us a pediatrician (family friend) happened to be there when it happened and made sure she was ok.

Methinks this book should go to the top of Santa's list.
