Mirena and Pregnancy

Ok so I've had the mirena in since my LO was 8 weeks (now almost 10 months). Over the last month or so I started getting all the same symptoms I had  when I was pregnant the first time I stopped getting a period after about 3 months of inserting the mirena so I can't say that I'm late. I took a prgnancy test that came out negative but it could have been too early to tell. I'm not really sure what to do, does anyone have any similar stories or advice? I don't want to talk to my husband yet because he's been incredibly stressed out but I really think I might be pregnant

    Before the Mirena, was your cycle regular? Even if you haven't bled, you're still cycling (ovulating, etc) and maybe you can trace it out to know when you would be "late" if you were still bleeding. I didn't bleed on the Mirena either but still kept track of my cycle so that when I got it out (and we were ready to TTC again) I would be prepared. 

    If it wasn't regular, then I'd probably wait three days and then take a test again. I don't know what your pregnancy symptoms are, but I do know that some of my friends started getting different PMS symptoms then they had had before after the birth of their first babies (specifically bloating and breast tenderness), so it could be that. If you're like me and you're barfing uncontrollably, then I'd call the doctor ASAP because it's either pregnancy or dying.
