@Alygohome - I love titted you as a show of support. I think it's understandable that you'd feel different as it gets closer to Christmas. Allow yourself some time to grief and maybe you can do something for your angel to gain some closure. Hugs.
Awe thanks for the support ladies I really appreciate it. Sometimes my emotions just hit me out of no where and takes me for surprise and I think that's what happened. I was in D14 reading threads and that's when it really hit me. Sorry for your ladies losses too.
But I am all glad that we are having feb babies because we are such a great group and glad that I have you guys as my BMB buddies
@Alygohome Yeah I'm happy to be a part of this group as well! I found out right before Christmas last year so I had an ornament engraved to tell my husband we would be parents, I'm still debating if I want to put it on the tree this year or not. Would that be weird? We lost ours early on, right on Christmas day. Thank goodness it didn't take me toooo long to conceive again, what a discouraging thing to go through!
Guyz I am having lots of trouble today with my PGAL brain. Its not that I am afraid something is wrong, but I am really sad since my due date was supposto be Christmas. I know I am lucky and got pregnant right after but I feel like I have been pregnant for 9 months and having trouble realizing that it is still a few months until I meet my princess. I don't really feel like celebrating Christmas this year, I feel like I should be so happy I get a feb baby but still a little down that its been like...37 weeks that I have been pregnant and I should be getting ready to meet baby around Christmas time ...sigh. I didn't think it would bother me getting closer to my loss babies due date so I am surprised at how I feel.
HUGS...

@racheltherose -- I would probably put it on my tree if it doesn't make you too sad. Our loss was early too so I didn't think it would bother me this much as I got closer, I don't even know what to say about having a loss on Christmas day, that makes me really sad for you. Sorry you had to go through that.
@Alygohome I just like to think it happened for a reason, what it is I don't know... but there has to be a reason. And I just can't wait to see my beautiful baby boy soon I think I will put the ornament up, in honor of what could have been.
@musicgirl524 Aw hugs to you too! I do always wonder what the sex of that baby was, or what it looked like yadda yadda. Happy for what I have now though
I want to know who the lil' fucker is that threw their Taco Bell 12 taco box and all its wrappers into my front yard last night... Could you REALLY not keep it in your car until you got home? We have an old man who will throw a 40 oz Magnum beer out the window of his van every day but at least I get that! He doesn't want to get pulled over w an open container but come on... taco bell? REALLY?

Sorry, I wanted to hide the evidence from my hubby...if he found it in the garbage at home, I'd be busted!
Just kidding. Seriously, that is so rude. I'd be ticked.

I seriously can't even fathom what someone thinks when they throw something like that out their window... it's FOOD, not drugs, not alcohol, FOOOOOOD... take it home and throw it in your trash can! I really can't stop thinking about my ex MIL who was a rather large woman who tried a lap band surgery. She still would binge out and then throw all the evidence out the window of her car. She was a trip (not in a good way)
So yeah the teacher aid whose also due in feb that kept getting on my nerves with her constant complaints of my bump being bigger than hers.
Yeah she apparently tested positive for GD. So she had all her appointments and stuff yesterday for it. So shes been testing maybe like a day if i understood correctly.
I've had a bad day all day today and she actually looked for me to tell me she also has GD. She then proceeded to tell me that everything I'm doing for mine is wrong. X(
She then went on and on how she eats whaetever she wants and was told you can manage it with just portion control and that you don't have to do everything I'm doing and that I must be doing it wrong if my sugar is still high.
Bitch I will get stabby with you. Today is not the day to lecture me on how you think you're a know it all from your one damn day of testing yourself.

Ok ladies back again ......... Dr appointment went well . It was so good to see my love bug #2 according to the ultra sound he is approx. 4lb 6oz .........whoa the dr also said I appear to be 32wks not 30 and estimated due date is 1/29.......... Which kinda sucks because I love being a F15er I like it here plz let me stay ladies lol
@boxerrrmama85 this happened to me once at Dunkin Donuts drive thru. The person in front of me paid for my coffee, so I decided to pay it forward for the next guy. I tell the cashier this and she starts laughing. This guy ordered 4 coffees and 3 sandwiches. At the drive thru!! When he pulled around turns out that I knew him, he was a really nice customer from work. I told him I would buy his coffees but he's on his own for his sandwiches, and next time to not order so much from the drive thru, there is a limit as a courtesy to other customers lol
Anyway, something weird happened last night when I was out to dinner with my husband....
We were eating and this young girl approached our table with candy bars. She couldn't have been older than 7. She asked if we would like to buy one and my husband is a nice guy so he says sure. As he is taking out his wallet and getting out the money she says "I love your phone! That's the one I'm saving up for by selling these! $5.00". He has an Iphone 6. SHE IS 7. He was already committed at this point so he went through with it, but after she left the table we were shocked. Since when do kids sell candy bars for Iphones? I thought it was for a school fundraiser.... Is this ok behavior???
As a mother to a 7 year old I would NOT let him sell candy for any type of iPhone. Or let him mislead people into thinking they are donating for a good cause.........just my opinion
You definitely should mourn the loss. It is natural to feel that way, so don't think you are wrong in feeling this way. I'm so sorry for your loss. I can't imagine going through that.
My spam today is that my feet have swollen for the first time this pregnancy. Ugghhhh! They look like puffy marshmallows. Since I just went to the doctor yesterday, I'm not super stressed about it being anything other than normal third tri swelling.
Spam: any of you ladies had the unfortunate experience of telemarketing? I did that during my first pregnancy which was so long ago now that I have blissfully forgotten the worst parts. Just now my 17yo son took a call and woke me up 25 min into a painfully short 30 min siesta. For a telemarketer. It was soooooo hard to be nice. Grrrr. Son should have known better. I needed 5 more minutes!! Sigh.

My feet have started swelling today as well. But for some STRANGE reason it's almost a proud moment! Like a right of passage! hahah Yay for marshmallow feeties!
@Alygohome and @racheltherose hugs to you both! I had a small baby shower thrown by the ILs this past weekend and sobbed to my mom after thanking everyone for coming. I just felt so guilty for our 2 previous losses and celebrating Oliver triggered guilt toward the end of the night.
I'm so happy we are all here together on F15 and know this must be meant to be
So, first off, I love my parents, all of them. This is more of a vent about my mom and step dad. My mom is super excited about her first grandchild. She has all these plans to have her over to spend the night. Here is the thing, and it's not something I necessarily have to worry about now, but it will come up. Their house is filthy. Not just cluttered, but filthy. I don't think they ever sweep or mop or vacuum. They have 2 dogs. The couch and an ottoman are the dogs' beds, so whenever you want to sit down, you end up COVERED in dog hair, and who wants to sit in the dog bed? The guest rooms are her hoarding rooms. I am assuming if the baby were to spend the night, she would sleep in a PNP in my parents' room because that's the only space available. Those other rooms are stuffed with stuff. The litter box is in the laundry room, off the kitchen, so there is litter tracked into the kitchen. I don't know what I can do or say anymore. My sister and I have tried to tell them their house is gross, but nothing changes. I told my husband if we go over there, our baby is not allowed to crawl there. We have even thought about getting those fences for the baby to be in with blankets we bring. That just seems really insulting. We only really go over there at Thanksgiving and Christmas, and it would really disappoint my mom if we wanted to host holidays every year. I just don't know what to do. I want them to be active grandparents. Just not in their house.
@mahalo3 I would just straight up tell them that their house keeping isn't great and you don't want baby covered in dog hair/cat littler ect. I know they may be insulted but I believe in honesty and would rather someone tell me the truth then make up lies... My parents smoke in their house (YUCK) and we hardly go over, when we do we usually sit outside and I have told them straight up its because they smoke in the house and it stinks.
After the yummy orange drink, Caroline was all flippy this afternoon. I believe with all the sugar I usually consume, I may have created a cookie monster instead of a baby!
OAN, a lady from church just offered us a maternity photo shoot as a gift! She usually charges quite a bit for a session (and will now do our newborn photos since we won't be spending anything on maternity photos). I almost cried! I was just sure that we weren't going to get any done, since we didn't have the kind of money to spend on both maternity and newborn!
We have discovered an Elmo alphabet game on the ipad. Ella is learning to draw her letters, and it shows cute little Sesame Street videos. This has been keeping her happy for DAYS and is helping me kick her ridiculous MIckey habit of late.
Check out the Endless Alphabet app! It's a combination of learning puzzles, fine motor skills, letters, letter sounds, and even vocabulary. Hailey loves it! And I really think it was a major factor in how quickly she picked letter recognition. Most of the words are off the wall things that you wouldn't normally use in every day life, but it's kinda funny because she will try to use them. (they scramble the letters and you have to drag them back to where they go - as you are touching the letter puzzle piece it's giving you the sound of the letter, then when the word is completed, they do a quick cartoon and the definition of the word)
DS does the Endless ABC app and he found the Endless 123 one on his teacher's phone recently. I love those apps!!

If my 4yo doesn't lose this attitude today....! He's driving me nuts and he's so mouthy tonight! He even picked a fight with another kid at school today and apparently punched the kid in the face the second his teacher turned her back after breaking them up! WTF! Of course it's on a night his dad doesn't get home til after he's in bed, too, so DH won't have to deal with any of it! He's normally a pretty easy kid so it completely throws me off when he has days like this. Meltdowns are normal for us. Even him being fussy cos he's tired. But not him picking fights or talking back to me like a mouthy teenager.
He needs to get himself in check before tomorrow cos I'm already pissy that I'm getting set back another day for my graduation next week by having to miss tomorrow. Mum is busy and I'm not at all upset with her about it cos she does a ridiculous amount for me already but my brother bailed last minute on me (again) and I have NO ONE to watch him otherwise because it's last minute. Now I have to miss all 8 hours instead of just the last 2. I'm SO close to being done and I've already been pushed from Tuesday afternoon due to being sick and having appts to now Friday evening after I miss tomorrow. I know it could be worse but it's making me so stabby!!
I get having to cancel for different reasons and I know he was doing me a favor, even though I was paying him to watch him, but he needs to quit bailing when he's committed to helping with something just because he would rather sit around while my SIL is at work (his words were "I really just don't feel like doing anything tomorrow so I'm not gonna watch him anymore"). It's not like he's working otherwise right now or going out to look for work! He's lucky I won't drag my SIL or mum into this X(

Ugh guys just heard crazy coworker talking about his kid he adopted and I want to be sick. (YES he is gone in 1 week--not that I am counting down or anything)
So he is on the phone with someone and they must have asked how the kid is doing with the food or w.e and he said. "he doesn't have a choice I make him eat it, but he is fairly obedient" then they must have said something about the weather being different because he said "we force him to be outside with the other children and he isn't allowed to speak Chinese, he will get used to it" "yes he was in foster homes but we have no idea how many or what his education level is since he can't speak English yet but my wife homeschools and will be teaching him"
Guuuys. He took this 10.5 year old kid from the only country he knew, not letting him speak the only language he knows and is forcing him to do stuff. They have been back a few days. My heart breaks for this kid. No "we encourage" no history or trying to make him feel comfortable. Ugh. So sick. His wife is 60 and has no education other thank highschool I can't imagine she is qualified to be his only teach but, whatever, what do I know, I am a woman.
DH has been pissy all day, I'm exhausted and my aunt is back in the hospital. The tumor removal was successful but before they could start chemo she was hospitalized for either an infection or a bloood build up in her lungs.
I'm not sure she'll last more than a year. I don't know how to talk with my mom about this.
Thanks @DBJackson25. Hopefully a good night's rest (if I can sleep) and DH being at work tomorrow will give me a good break and time to come to terms with my aunt's failing health.

Ugh, so jealous of you both!! My legs started swelling pretty early in 2nd trimester!! Its on an off with severity, generally depending on what I eat. Chinese food, especially soup has been out for months. I actually have really low blood pressure, so no worries there, its just interesting how differently people's body's react.
@mahalo3 Are your parents related to my FIL? You just described his house so clearly that I'd think you had a hidden camera. We laid down the law and made it clear that it had to be safe for DS or he would not be visiting. It is still disgusting, but he has made huge strides. He actually cleaned out DH's old bedroom (read: shuffled crap to other rooms) to the point of resembling a normal person's room so that DS could have somewhere safe for his PNP.
F15 December Siggy Challenge: Holiday Decoration Fails
SO I'm trying to figure out this whole FMLA thing and HR just wasn't helpful.
So I pay my disability insurance at work every month. SO thats what I'll be getting paid with while I'm out on FMLA.
If it weren't for the fact that I've paid that money I would just resign like probably now.
So when should I resign? My health insurance isn't through my work so theres nothing I would have to pay back. WIth all the issues I'm having when should I take my leave and put in my resignation?
