  I very, very rarely eat Taco Bell the last few years, but I do like a gordita crunch and fries supreme when I do go. In all honesty, Taco Bell really is gross and unhealthy, so don't feel like you're missing out. It's a secret blessing you can't fall victim. Bahaha.
  I often find myself craving junk, when I give in I immediately feel let down because it's not a good as I remember.

  My husband likes to tell the following story, years ago, my best friend, my husband, and I stopped at Taco Bell on the way home from a night out. BFF and I were shit faced, naturally. We ordered $30 worth of Taco Bell. Got back to her apartment and decided the nacho bel grande was not made to our liking so we called the 800 number on the receipt. After that debacle he " claims" that he fell asleep while we were eating Taco Bell. Then he "claims" that he woke up an hour later and we were still eating Taco Bell. I have no memory.

  Okay......so this must be why I have been hardcore craving Mexican for the past couple of days!!!! Last night I was so desperate that I cut up corn tortillas and baked them in the toaster oven to make chips. They actually came out pretty good! Especially when I melted cheese on them.

  Also, DH and I are having a "date night" on Saturday which means I might be able to trick him into taking me to Taco Bell. Which will no doubt have negative repercussions for him (hello pregnancy gas), but be nothing but delicious for me!

  Last night, I had authentic mexican tacos for dinner (you know, the kind with the soft corn tortilla shells, shredded chicken, queso fresco, cilantro and raw onion, with a squirt of lime).
  
  Tonight, we are making tacos for dinner - the "American" kind - soft flour tortillas, ground turkey, smothered in cheese and sour cream.
  
  For dessert, we are having nachos.
  
  The after dessert will most likely be peanut butter ripple ice cream from Turkey Hill.
