I could not care less if you (general) are having a boy or girl. I don't even open the posts that are labeled "guess the sex!!" BC I just can't even bring myself to be snarky. I just.don't.care.
I really really REALLY struggle with the idea of breastfeeding this one. I tried with my first, and it almost sent me into PPD. So the thought of it sort of makes me hyperventilate.
Me: 30; DH: 32
Married since 3/15/08.
Pregnancy 1: BFP on 1/24/11 - Molly born on 10/6/11!
Pregnancy 2: BFP on 11/5/14 - Baby #2 due on 7/17/15!
In between pregnancies, I've grown to love my "other" baby. The "carb baby", that's taken permanent residence in my belly, thanks to my overzealous love of bread, pasta and pastries. Hence my name.
I could care less if someone uses the term gender or sex. I get it. I understand the point. But I really just don't care which word is used.
Lol. I feelz ya. I gently remind someone of the difference just so they know but I am not personally triggered by it at all. I think 90% of the people on here (including me) learned of the difference ON HERE.
This signature is all for YOU. I'm on mobile and can't see crap.
I can't stand the term butt hurt. I know it is meant innocently most of the time, but I think it can be offensive. The term seems to degrade certain types of sexuality, and at worst it can be connected to rape. Now, I won't get "upset" when others use it and I realize it's widely accepted, but that's my two cents!!
Married to DH since 2010, TTC since 2012
2 Furbaby pups, Miley and Ally
Unexplained IF, 3 rounds clomid= BFN, IUI+femara 2/14 = BFN, IVF 5/14 = BFP! MMC 7/14. FET 10/31/14= BFP!!! 2 gestational sacs, one baby with a heartbeat. Praying for our little bean sprout!

I've taken dumps that have hurt 10x more than anal sex. Those poops are what come to mind when the term "butthurt" is used.

This is June for me.
Father's Day, Anniversary, DH's birthday, Flag Day (j/k, but that's my anniversary), busy time at work. It seems like I'm missing something. And now this baby will be pretty darn close to the end of June. Oh well. I have to start saving $ now.
When people spout their opinions about welfare off on Facebook it gets easy for me to edit my friends list. I am a social worker. If you don't understand welfare, have never been in a place in your life where you needed to use it, and have no empathy for those who do I don't really care to hear your opinion. Especially really nasty almost blatantly racist ones. Buh-bye.

I have a HUGE issue with people who live on it and make no effort to better themselves and their situation. I also side eye parents who let their children use EBT cards for pop and candy at the gas station.

Once again, I'm side eyeing you. So people on welfare shouldn't be allowed to drink soda?

I'm glad you are a better parent and person than "those parents." I hope you are never side-eyed for letting your children buy anything.
I have an issue with anyone who thinks people on welfare are somehow their responsibility to judge or teach. Mind your own business.
edit for words
My only problem are the people I know who sell their cards on facebook at the beginning of every month. I see quite a few people back from HS (who I only have connections with now on FB) auctioning off their stuff and cards for other people. I mean, yay for capitalism and all, but that's not really the intent, and it's illegal.

************quote fail******************* +1 for the side-eye. It is by the grace of God that I have never had to be on welfare. I have NO idea what it would be like to be struggling that bad financially. Therefore, I STFU about people who are on it. You want to talk about welfare queens?: The Walton Family, GE... The list goes on an on.

That's fine....you don't have to love it but do you really understand what it's like for "those" people who live on it? It's not a glamorous life. People who don't have the life skills to budget, teach their children about good nutrition, how to manage childcare and working/job search. It isn't easy when you come from a background where those behaviors aren't the norm. Sometimes people lose their jobs. Shit happens. Be glad you have not been in that position. It usually isn't something as simple as they are "lazy" and won't work.

I just want to point out there is a difference between families who truly need assistance and people who take advantage of the system. For instance, a couple of years ago I worked out with a trainer to get in shape for a wedding I was in. There was another woman who also worked out with my trainer. She was a stay at home mom. She never married her fiancé of several years who she had three kids with. He owned a well off car lot. She drove a new Hummer and her kids were always dressed to the nines. Let me add her and her fiancé were very much together. She got food stamps. I have a real probably with someone being able to pay $150 a week to work out with a trainer, but unable to pay for groceries. There is such a thing a priorities. Just because you can get welfare, doesn't mean the need it.
I love my soccer boys. I can count on one hand with fingers left over the amount of guys I've dated that weren't soccer players. The abs. The lean muscle...everywhere. Like in the beautiful V of their torsos...
Mine is petty..... I hate uggs..... They are uggly and a huge waste of money.... something meant to keep your feet warm through the cold months which for most places mean they have snow, but water can ruin them. I understand that you can buy spray to protect them, but they are shoes. Why are they not outdoor safe!
Fine china is ridiculous. The only time we would use it is Thanksgiving or Christmas, and I don't don't want to a million dishes on a holiday. We use paper plates and plastic cups. I don't care that it's tacky.

Shit - ok let me back step once. I worked at a gas station and there were 4 kids that would come in daily with their' mom's EBT card and buy piles and piles of candy and pop. No, I didn't mean it as a treat now and then.
I also side eyed the people who were able to use them to buy cigarettes.
Yes, I haev lost my job. I was 'let go' by an asshat when I was 7 months pregnant last time. I moped for a week and took my pregnant backside out and interviewed like crazy. I was lucky enough to land the job I have with an interview the day I went into labor.
Maybe more people would like soccer if they didn't wear the uniforms!
I'd watch that.
Also, since I'm that person, (and I swear it has nothing to do with it being you, just a coincidence) technically more people DO like soccer. It's the most popular sport in the world!
You're just mad cuz I don't like GIFs. Admit it.
EDIT: What do you mean it has nothing to do with being me? I don't think I usually find myself on the other side of controversy do I?
Re: UO Thursday
:-O
OK I think GIFs are stupid, but that's one of my favorite SNL characters EVER so you get a pass!

The PSA posts are getting annoying and accomplish nothing.
Thanks for the eye candy! But your link is broken....
