AFM, nothing really new with me personally this week. However, the big new at the Yarny house is that Mr. Yarny has broken his dang foot. He was doing a Turkey Trot 5K on Thanksgiving day in our neighborhood and was running on the sidewalk. He went to run around some folks and while running in the uneven grass, rolled his ankle resulting in a Jones fracture of the 5th metatarsal of his right foot. So, he's non-weight-bearing on crutches, unable to drive. Thankfully, he's not in a TON of pain... he's doing a good job of trying to ice it regularly and takes his pain killers before he's above a threshold so he's not chasing the pain.
We were finally able to get an appointment with a podiatrist/orthopedist for today at 1:00, but I did send his x-ray to a friend of mine I went to school with who is also a podiatrist in another state and she said surgery is likely. So, things have been challenging. That said, we still did a bunch of moving around of furniture... his parents came to help us, we needed to move some stuff to get the tree up, and then some additional rearranging of things so that DS' toys could go in another room, and book shelves could go into what wold become the new nursery for our girls. We're blessed that after my IL's left, our neighbor came over and helped us move some boxes around so we're finally getting the house back to what will start to become our new normal. Things had been pretty torn up prior to him breaking his foot and it would have been dangerous for him to have it like that for much longer with the crutches.
So, as much as the foot break is about DH, I selfishly have been feeling my own woes since I'm now primary on all things around the house. I often will complain that he doesn't do stuff, but in reality he does a LOT and now that he's down for the count, this mama is really overtired. Last night we went for groceries, and I had to bring them all in and put them away myself as well as make dinner, do the dishes and finish up some laundry (which DH folded thank goodness). Ah well, this too shall pass, yes?
QOTW: We're basically going to our list of favorite names for first names... nothing very scientific or anything about it, just what we seem to like (this is mostly DH), or have liked for a while (which is more my case). As for middle names, we'll likely use family names. We're currently leaning towards two names from my side of the family... our son's middle name is DH's first name, so his side was already taken care of in theory... but I'm sure that will cause drama no matter what. You know how families can be...
Married September 2005 - TEAM PINK x2 this time around
We have our A/S in 3 short days! Can't wait. I don't even care about the sex at this point (though of course it will be nice to know) just really looking forward to seeing baby! It's been quite some time since my last U/S and I'm eager to make sure all is well.
Symptoms wise I feel downright normal. Pre pregnancy normal (except I get tired a little earlier than I used to)
As for names, we're naming for our maternal grandmothers who have passed away. The initials will be A.S. or S.A. for both the English and Hebrew names. We have it pretty narrowed down for girls, boys is a bit harder for some reason!
yarnymommy hope DH feels better soon, for both of your sakes
We had the anatomy scan last tuesday, which was nice to see her again she looks perfect and we got tons of 3D pictures of her, she kept putting her hand up by her face and didn't want to get into a good position where they could get all of the images of her heart, but eventually they got them.
We have an echo study of her heart scheduled in another 3 weeks and a grown scan around 28 weeks. Between seeing the perinatologist and the OB, it seems like every 2 weeks I have an appointment.
I have been tired this week, but only during the day. I still get up and get my runs in thankfully, but I still am not tired come bed time. She isn't either, she just kicks up a storm around 9 PM and then again at 330 AM. She's a vampire, like me I guess.
QOTW - we had settled on our girls name pretty early on, like before we even got pregnant. Hayley Marie was our top choice. DH liked Heidi Ann, which had we had twin girls, he would have really pushed for that. I think I would have tried to convince him to go with Karina. Marie is my middle name (and my mom's) Ann is his mother's middle name.
To be on the safe side we also had boys names picked out Justin Robert and Brantley Dean. Robert is DH's (and FIL's) middle name and Dean is my grandfather's first name. So we always tried to find a middle name that was in the family. Boys names were harder for us to agree on so it's a good thing we are having a girl!

We had put A/S last Wednesday and she is developing perfectly. My heart goes out to all of you who are waiting for this and are understandably nervous.
The tech was incredibly helpful and delightfully entertaining. She turned on the 3D for us. I am in awe of how much LO looks like DH! I always imagined a girl would look like me. I am attaching a picture.
QOTW: Her name is Novella Faith. Novella was my great grandmother, and Faith commemorates our unwavering trust in God that this would happen "one day."
@Alicia_R1 - Congrats on a great scan! I'm jealous of all your 3D pics. We got a single one, and it's a little creepy and blob like. I don't know why our tech only clicked to that mode for about five seconds. Got one you can post?
@acrotzer - Pic didn't attach. I want to see yours, too! Congrats on a healthy scan!
@Grailseeker14 - Get that writing done! It's usually the starting that is hard for people, so you just have to sit down and do it. I hope you feel more movement soon!
AFM, the biggest news in our lives, which those on the PAIF board will know, is that we had to put our beloved kitty to sleep yesterday, and I've been a complete blubbering mess for days. I've wondered how I would be coping if I weren't pregnant and hormonal. I had him for 13 years, since he was a kitten, which is pretty much my entire adult life. It's especially hard for my soft-hearted animal lover DH, who has had cats all his life and now doesn't know when he'll have another one. You're not supposed to adopt cats during pregnancy because of toxoplasmosis risk, and I seriously doubt we're going to want to run out and get one right after the baby is born. I'm getting worried that we're going to end up with a bunch more dogs (only have one right now).
In baby news, this little girl seems to be throwing a nearly non-stop dance party. I started feeling movement very suddenly from her. I'd had some maybe flutters, then some stuff at night I was more confident about starting at 18 weeks, then about a week ago--on a day with six hours of meetings--it just became constant and very easy to detect. If she's particularly enthusiastic in her movements you can feel her from the outside. A favorite Tgiving activity was eating ice cream (cold + sugar = movement) and having relatives put their hands on my stomach to feel her kick. Or shimmy, or throw punches, or whatever the heck she's doing in there. I hope babies aren't too affected by whatever hormones are surging when one is in mourning.
QOTW: We're still debating our names, although we haven't discussed it much of late. We've decided we like Jane as a middle name, but perhaps not as a first name. Someone on the names board recommended Kira (or Kyra--different origins and meanings, although pronunciation is the same) recently, which I really dig. So Kira Jane is currently my top choice. I told DH and he's mulling it over. I suspect he won't be a fan, but we shall see.

hello, all - I'm 18w5d today. My A/S is at the end of the week. I'm a little anxious, but mostly, I'm looking forward to the appointment. I am expecting some nice, long looks at both babies, and DH is finally going to see a scan of something more than the gestational sacs he saw at the RE's office. I'm dying to know the sex(es) of the babies - though I'm pretty sure at this point that at least one of them is a boy. I'm questioning whether I can keep the news from my family until Christmas time - maybe announce it with bibs or onesies for our parents - but I have no patience. More likely, I'll call my mom from the car and be all, "Guess what we're having!!!"
QOTW: Add this to the list of things that we are putting off. Seriously, I hope our lack of preparation for babies is not a sign that we'll be bad parents. Maybe its partly due to the fact that I still don't feel very pregnant. Other than almost constant heartburn and a waning number of pants that fit in my closet (things I have suffered before being pregnant too), I don't have any symptoms.
DH told our 9 yr old niece a few weeks ago to write down a list of names for us. She forgot to bring her list to Thanksgiving, but she told us the ones she could remember. The only one that sticks in my head is Jason (something) - I think I like it because I immediately imagine a baby leading the Argonauts in search of a golden fleece. DH thought of Jason Kidd. *sigh* - mine was more romantic. I can't remember any of the girl names, but I distinctly remember feeling like my niece was introducing me to a collection of American Girl dolls when she recited them so... that was somewhat less promising.
So, right now, we're letting a 9 year old pick names out for us. That seems like a good strategy, right?
*** once again I've made a novel out of the QOTW - geeze, I like to hear myself talk... err.. type, don't I? ***
@baby_blessings Totally in the same boat, with the RLP/hip pain, and the nervousness. Anterior placenta makes it so hard to feel baby, and its all I want to feel, for piece of mind.
I go in next monday for baby's Echo, then 24 week appt the following week. Ive got a crazy stressful work week this week too, which doesn't help anything.
QOTW: We are mostly likely going with Claire Marie.
HOLY WHIRLWIND of a day for me!! I apologize for being MIA the past few weeks...but I need to vent, and know this is a place that I think it will be welcomed...I'll come back to read and catch up with everyone tomorrow...when I am hopefully less emotional/hormonal over my day...
So most of you know I went at 16+3 to an elective u/s place that told me I was 100% having a boy! After which DH and I planned a big reveal party (45-50 of our closest friends and family), registered for our baby boy, and painted the room navy blue!!
All to have my 20+3 u/s today and be told it is 100% GIRL!!!!!!!!
WHAAAAT!?!?!?!
My stomach is in knots and I don't even know why I'm feeling so emotional about this...well except maybe because of the hormones rushing through my body!
I am now going back for a free follow-up at the elective place tomorrow and hope I get a damn good picture when I leave there!!!!!
------
Well QOTW is fun for this LOL. We have a running list for a baby boy, that DH says we wouldn't pick from until birth most likely. For a girl we had already decided on Megan Rose because of family reasons. We shall see!!

@grailseeker14 -- yes, I shouldn't forget to mentioned that baby is absolutely perfect and measuring exactly 20+3! DH and I did want a girl, and he actually said he wasn't giving up his glimmer of hope for today's answer to change...and don't you know it did!!!!! I just finally was attached to the idea of my baby boy, that now I feel like I now need time to let that go and be able to get excited for a little girl. Either way, I am thrilled that everything looked great today.

We thought our a/s went well last week, until the very end when the tech said "just a warning, the doctor will probably recommend a level 2 scan because of a choroid plexus cyst on the baby's brain, but don't worry, it's very, very normal." Um...what?? So we googled, and spent a good 24 hours completely panicked, especially because we were leaving for our trip the next day and knew we couldn't get in for the follow up for a couple weeks. We have the level 2 scan the day we get back from our trip. We've since calmed down because baby has no other soft markers, but after everything we went through to get to this point it's just terrifying. Desperately hoping that baby is okay.
We had our names picked out, but DH just decided he doesn't like the nickname that goes with our boy name. So it's back to the drawing board there. Girl name is pretty solid (for now, at least!).

Excluding work, this is a good week. All that I thought would get accomplished last week did and more. My husband was a rock star. The nursery is all painted … 3 gray walls and one deep hot pink wall. I love it! My dad thinks it is too much, but my husband completely agrees with me. He did get a little frustrated with me when he thought he could paint more of the bookcase lime green than my approval (just the inside), and I said "NO, NO, NO". After moping for an hour, I decided to compromise about changing my mind on the crib / dresser color and let him choose. However, he went with my preference because he "wants me to be happy". It looks good, and he thinks so too.
Like others, I'm also waking up with hip pain. It drives me nuts to flip back and forth all night long, but at least I can go right back to sleep unlike my 1st trimester when I would just lie there awake.
I did have an emotional moment last week thinking of how great of a husband I have. So, I watched our wedding highlight reel from the videographer's website. I actually cried the whole time! That was certainly the best day of my life so far. Finding out we were pregnant did not match that because I was so nervous things would go wrong. So, I'll just await my new best day next April
acrotzer, I am considering Faith for the middle name of Evelyn Time will tell…
Thank you all for your kind words and well wishes for DH. He is scheduled for surgery tomorrow. He'll be on rest for 2 weeks, then 2 more weeks additional of non-weight bearing activity (we bought him one of those knee scooters so he doesn't have to use crutches), then 6 weeks in a walking boot. Whew!

Thankfully, things are going pretty uneventfully for me lately. Last week I passed my PPROM milestone with my first set of twins. I am still feeling pretty anxious...the next 8 weeks are so critical in terms of not going into preterm labor. I had a growth scan and ultrasound to check cervical length earlier this week and all was good on that front, so that's reassuring. Next week is my A/S...I am definitely feeling a little nervous about it and will be happy for it to be in the past. I am getting really big really fast...it's caught me a little off-guard, I think!

Whew...ok...finally got a second to spend some time catching up over here!!
@jlb902@grailseeker14@pblge --- It's STILL a BOY!!!!!! Whew...that was seriously a rollercoaster!!!! I went back to the place where we had our elective u/s yesterday after work, because he told me to come back if I got a different answer. I showed him the u/s pic from Tuesday, and at first he was a little worried he might have been wrong...but seconds after he put the wand back on he said "nope, definitely a boy". I then made him spend then next 25 minutes proving it to me LOL. I basically told him I wasn't going to be 100% sure until I had a 3d image of his 'goods'! It took a bit of time, and shifting from my back to both sides, but he got it...clear as day..no mistaking that nub sticking out!! haha. He even went back and gave me a 3d pic of our boy's upper half too, so I'm happy with that.
Now I just wonder if I should call the hospital and tell them they made a mistake? They are not the hospital associated with my DR, so I won't be back there or delivering there, but I worry how often that happens to people!! If I didn't do that elective u/s, I would have just found out I'm having a girl and that would be that!! I now swear by getting a 2nd opinion!!!

Ok...on to finally catching up with you ladies!!
yarnymommy --- ugh!! So sorry to hear about DH's foot...I can totally understand how you are feeling, it definitely affects you too!!
CaterinaC -- I'm so sorry to hear about your friend. There is nothing that makes things like that any easier to deal with, and it's so hard to watch it happen. I hope you can try to enjoy some time left with him. As for your u/s, FX for a great appointment!!
fro88 -- GL at your u/s too!!! It was so great to see how much baby grew since I last saw him, and it was also great to hear that everything was perfect. It makes me feel quite a bit better about possibly not seeing him again until he's born!!
GrailSeeker14 and @pblge-- isn't feeling the baby the coolest feeling!?! When it first happened for me I wasn't really sure what I was feeling. Now that I have felt it a few times I know exactly what it is, and I seem to feel it A LOT more now. From both u/s this week, and from my last doppler at the DR, I know this boy is quite the mover. My u/s tech on Tuesday was laughing at how much he was dancing around in there! She had to be really patient with him to try and get the pics she needed! I can't wait until DH can feel it!! I'm so sorry to hear about your loss pblge (

Hi All, Hugs and positive vibes to everyone. >:D< >:D<
What's new with everyone this week? Im 21w 3d today, just this last week I've begun to get really excited. I guess i didn't realize how nervous and worried I've been. This is the furthest I've been in my pregnancies. The excitement kicked in this week, I have a sticky healthy baby.
Symptoms to report? Eventually the 2nd trimester glow has caught up with me, I feel much better, the sickness is less and less. I also have found some energy at last.
Scans? I have no scans this week, next week i have a general growth scan, just to check on our little man.
Appointments? My OB appointment is right after my scan, this week has been an appointment free week.
Cute/sweet moment of the week? My DH surprised me. He had painted the nursery and built the crib. So sweet, we sat in the room for hours after talking about decoration, and moving the crib around the room. Over the coming weeks I'm excited to see it all come together.
I'm so sorry for the late post. I was waiting on a photo of the big reveal to share. It's official!! We are having a BOY! DD and DH were so excited at the reveal. I was going to be happy either way but it will be so awesome to have a little boy.
QOTW: Baby boy will be Maxwell Brode (rhymes with Road). My grandfather on my dad's side was Max and Brode was the middle name of the grandfather on my mom's side. Brode also goes back like 5 or 6 generations in our family.
jszy10 Congrats on your BOY (again!)! I can't believe the roller coaster you guys just went through!
yarnymommy So sorry about DH's foot. That has got to be difficult. Hopefully he heals quickly so he is ready to help out with the babies when they are born!
@pblge I am so sorry for your loss. Losing pets is so hard. I'm glad to hear baby is doing well and dancing like crazy.
stranzm glad to hear the nursery is coming along well! Be sure to share some pictures when you are done. I love seeing what everyone is doing! We are not very creative and don't plan to do much but I like to live through others.
KellyA724 T&P to you and baby. It sounds like so many mothers on here have received similar feedback but gotten good news on the follow up. I sure hope this is the case for you! I hope your Babymoon was AWESOME.
Seachele98 FX for a good echo appointment. We have ours on the calendar as well. Also, I love the name Claire Marie. Very classic!
AMShark FX for a great ultrasound this week. I highly recommend a reveal of some sort for your family. It was SO worth it for us. Granted we only had to wait a week but it was so sweet to share that moment with my parents, DD and catch it on film.
jlb902 I hope Aruba was great! I guess it was Baby moon week for several of us! I love the name Charlotte! If we were having a girl she would be Charlotte.
baby_blessings I'm glad to hear the family issues are sorted out. Nobody needs that added stress right now! Hopefully you will feel some movement soon for the peace of mind.
CaterinaC I am so sorry to hear about your friend. That is so sad. FX for a healthy AS on Friday. T&P to you, baby and your dear friend.
fro88 enjoy your AS!! I hope baby looks great! Glad you are feeling good!
Alicia_R1 FX for a healthy echo. Ours is in a week and a half. I feel like I will feel so much better after an all clear there. Hopefully you will as well.
acrotzer Cool name! Glad your AS went well and was entertaining.
GrailSeeker14 Yay for movement! It is so thrilling! I sure hope the time until your AS passes quickly and that everything looks good.
Not much to report this week except that I've been having nausea again! Has anyone else had this recently? My morning sickness wasn't bad at all in 1st tri, so I thought I had avoided it altogether. I hope this doesn't last through delivery.
Also still having preterm labor anxiety. I kind of feel like this could go on until I reach 36 or 37 weeks. I think now that I'm past 20 weeks it just feels more real and I'm terrified of anything happening to her at this point.
QOTW: I have a favorite girls name that has been picked out since I was a child. I even brought it up to DH while we were still dating, that's how attached I am to it. It was my great great grandmother's name.
At my MIL's last week for Thanksgiving she launched into how it's cruel to give a child an old or unusual name and that she will be made fun of and we can't name her that. She never even asked the origin or how we chose it or why it was important to me. She brought up these comments so much while we were there that I was nearly in tears over her behavior. I couldn't believe how insensitive she was - it's not her child to name!
@baby_blessingsSorry for your RLP! I love the name Sophie! Also, your DH sounds so cute! Mine has started reading to the baby too; but now he insists we buy every children's book out there!
@yarnymommy I'm sorry about your DH's foot! I hope his recovery is quick!
@CaterinaC I'm so sorry about your friend. My thoughts are with you. I hope your A/S goes well!
@Alicia_R1 I'm glad your A/S went well and you got lots of pics! I love your girl name choices!
@acrotzer Glad everything went well at your A/S! I can't wait to see the baby and see who he looks like more!
@GrailSeeker14My A/S is also still over a week away! My doctor seems to schedule everything later than everyone else! I'm sorry you are having trouble sleeping and other symptoms that are no fun.
@pblge I am so, so sorry about your kitty. I think you should get another kitty when you feel ready; but I think it would be pretty easy to adjust to having one sometime after the baby comes. Cats are pretty easy. Sending you lots of support and hugs!
@jlb902 That sounds like a great babymoon! Hope you had a good time! Sorry about the placenta previa though!
@AMShark I hope your A/S goes well tomorrow! I too, have been putting off too much stuff and I need to get going on it! I'm a procrastinator in general, but I don't want to be for baby stuff.
@jszy10Oh wow!! That is crazy! I just saw your update! I'm glad that the elective place really took their time and reassured you. I don't know if I would call the hospital back; maybe mention it to my doctor and see what he/she thinks?
@KellyA724I'm sorry about needing the level 2 scan. I hope everything turns out okay.
@blueberries8Good luck next week. I hope time goes quickly for you and everything turns out well!
@taahiraI'm so happy for you that you're getting excited! Your DH's surprise sounds so sweet! I bet having the room painted makes it feel much more exciting too!
@keifekmCongrats on your baby boy!! I love your picture too!
Sorry for the late post, work was busy at the beginning of the week!
I just got home from my OB checkup. I'm 19w5d today. Baby's heartbeat was good and my blood pressure was in the normal range! I've been checking it at the grocery store and it's always low there so I definitely think the high reading I got last time was from nerves. My doctor didn't seem worried anyway.
We did a registry this past weekend for our parents who want to get us stuff for Christmas. It was so fun! I loved watching my DH pick out things; it was just so cute. He also is really in to getting a carrier to wear the baby, and I just think it's cute that he wants to use one!
My A/S is scheduled for two weeks from now and then I have another checkup at 24 weeks. I'm looking forward to the A/S very much and also that I'll have an appointment every other week this month!
We are hoping to paint the baby's room before Christmas so I will be busy with that next weekend most likely. It's not a huge room so we hope it won't take too long!
I hope you all have a great weekend!
QOTW: We had a boy's name picked out since before we started TTC. So, we've had it for awhile. I looked into a few other names and sites just to be sure but we're set on it. Girl names we had a few favorites but decided to wait until the ultrasound before deciding and since it's a boy we'll just hold on to the list for next time (if we have a girl). Middle name was a family name on my H's side so that was easy too. Overall a pretty easy process for us!
edit: trying to fix tags! Also, forgot QOTW!

Haley612 thats awful that your MIL said those things about the name you've chosen! Its YOUR child, and you get to honor whom you wish with the name. I would move forward with the name you love, and tough cookies to her. If she dislikes it that much she can call little one 'Sweet Pea' til they're 18. Sheesh!
@Haley612 I also have had some morning sickness return. I felt nauseous until 16w then felt better. The past week I've been feeling nauseous again in the mornings. It is making me think my sick free days may have been short-lived!! (
I'm so sorry you're MIL was so mean to you. What was your husband's response? You should choose the name you love and if she doesn't like it too bad. My MIL has been hurtful to me in the past, so I know how hard it can be. sending you hugs!

@catlover790 My husband is in full agreement with me on the name, thankfully. His usual way of dealing with her is to just nod at her crazy/inappropriate comments and then just do whatever we want anyway. We're obviously not going to change the name bc she wants us to, but I just couldn't get over how out of line her comments were.
The name she wants us to use is Lily. She even went so far as to tell me that she knows my husband really wants to name her that, but that I'm pressuring him not to do it. Which is completely absurd and untrue. My husband doesn't even like the name Lily. I think this is all just a power struggle with her. My husband is her favorite son and she has felt threatened by me from the beginning, not bc of me as a person, but just bc I think she would feel that way about anyone who was his wife and "stealing" her precious son. Oh, and she also keeps referring to her as "our" baby, which makes me want to jump out of my skin.

Yes, I'm seeing some similarities between our MILs!! A few years ago my H would just stay quiet and it made her comments hurt more because I felt like she could say anything she wanted to me, but I was supposed to be respectful and nice to everyone. After my H and I have talked many times, and with some time where I think he's grown a lot he now stands up for me at family events. When she used to exclude me from our family photos (since I wasn't really part of the family :-O) now my H calls me over to the picture in a loud voice, "we can't have a family photo without my wife" or he refuses to do things that exclude me. He makes it known now that we are a team. Anyway, I hope she doesn't keep bringing up the name stuff! GL and hugs! I'm having a boy and I've already told dh that I'm going to be a nice MIL!

Hello ladies! So nice to see all of the good things happening for everyone!
Everything is good on our end, but busy with school. I have three classes left, so I cut down to one at a time so I can rest more after work.
Today I was diagnosed with strep throat. Going to take a 1/2 day off of work tomorrow and rest up so baby and I heal from this completely.
We find out if we are having a boy or a girl on Monday! So excited!!!

baby_blessings - I'm sure you are fine. You may recall that I was really worried because I hadn't felt my baby move at all and gained no weight for 1 month. All was well. I think that all of us probably worry (maybe more than those who haven't gone through our journeys?), so it is completely normal. Doesn't make you feel better, but just normal!
@GrailSeeker14 These are times when I wish we had waited to announce the name, but I think MIL would have taken our silence as indecision and still campaigned for the name she wants.
After the episode with her last weekend, we've decided we're going to officially name her sooner than later (before we see MIL again) and announce it to family and close friends. It's not as definitive as doing it after the baby is born, but hopefully once we announce" this is her name and we're not changing it," the negative comments will subside.
@catlover790 We're definitely going to have to work out some strategies for being more assertive with her and setting strict boundaries once the baby is born. I think there are things you are willing to put up with yourself, like passive aggressive comments, especially if you've already dealt with them your whole life, that you will not put up with when a child is involved.

((hugs)) @CaterninaC I am so sorry to hear about your friend.
@yarnymommy hopefully your DH is back on both feet soon and FX that he won't need surgery.
@baby_blessings I love the name Sophie!
We had the anatomy scan last tuesday, which was nice to see her again
she looks perfect and we got tons of 3D pictures of her, she kept putting her hand up by her face and didn't want to get into a good position where they could get all of the images of her heart, but eventually they got them.

All WelcomeThe tech was incredibly helpful and delightfully entertaining.
@baby_blessings - Sorry you're not feeling much movement. Is the family situation better now?
@yarnymommy - Oh no! Sorry about your DH's foot. I hope his recovery isn't too bad--you need help!
@Caterina_C - ((hugs)) about your friend and your A/S anxiety. I was a nervous wreck, too. I hope your goes wonderfully. I really like Jonas!
@fro88 - Good luck at your scan!!!
@Alicia_R1 - Congrats on a great scan! I'm jealous of all your 3D pics. We got a single one, and it's a little creepy and blob like. I don't know why our tech only clicked to that mode for about five seconds. Got one you can post?
@acrotzer - Pic didn't attach.
@Grailseeker14 - Get that writing done! It's usually the starting that is hard for people, so you just have to sit down and do it.
ETA: sorry for the novel!

** It's a BOY!!! **
Hopefully he heals quickly so he is ready to help out with the babies when they are born!
blueberries8 FX for a good AS!!
Also still having preterm labor anxiety. I kind of feel like this could go on until I reach 36 or 37 weeks. I think now that I'm past 20 weeks it just feels more real and I'm terrified of anything happening to her at this point.
QOTW:
I have a favorite girls name that has been picked out since I was a child.
I'm so sorry you're MIL was so mean to you. What was your husband's response? You should choose the name you love and if she doesn't like it too bad. My MIL has been hurtful to me in the past, so I know how hard it can be. sending you hugs!

@Haley612 - So sorry about your MIL's reaction. ((hugs)) Doesn't she know that old fashioned names are the cool thing?
