For me, it's a toss up between Dominic the Donkey and Do They Know It's Christmastime At All (or whatever the title is. Feed the world...but only the Christmas celebraters?)
Hey! Chingedy ching, (hee-haw, hee-haw) It's Dominick the donkey. Chingedy ching, (hee-haw, hee-haw) The Italian Christmas donkey. (la la la-la la-la la la la la) (la la la-la la-la la-ee-oh-da)
Santa's got a little friend, His name is Dominick. The cutest little donkey, You never see him kick. When Santa visits his paisons, With Dominick he'll be. Because the reindeer cannot, Climb the hills of Italy.

fftc? That doesn't shock me. I think it's because I perceive kindergarten teachers to like that cutesy, novelty stuff. (not knocking you, k teachers, or cutesy stuff...just this image I have in my head, especially after working with a variety of k teachers).
I have a sing-a-long DVD of Christmas movie songs (Rudolph, Santa Claus is coming to town, etc), and The Little Drummer Boy is on there. I showed it to some kids -- Kindergarten or 1st grade -- about four years ago. One little boy turned around to me and said "This isn't about Christmas! It's about Jesus being born!" Okay kid.
Last Christmas I gave you my heart. Is that the actual name of that song? Whatever it's called, I hate it.
Well maybe if you drank all the Christmas beer on a Santa Pub crawl and made up dance moves to this song you wouldn't hate it so much. #lifebeforebabies
1. I cannot stand Santa Baby(Madonna can suck it) but I love love love Baby It's Cold Outside.
2. I wasn't a fan of Little Drummer Boy until I heard a cool internet version of it last year and now I even like the regular version.
3. I super love NSYNC's Christmas album. I actually have two copies of it because one year I thought I lost my copy so I had to run out and get another.
@Shellbell3845 Have you checked out XM Holiday Traditions? I just looked it up and it's channel 73. I haven't made it to either XM Christmas channel yet because I listen to talk radio on the way to work and Dave Ramsey on the way home. :-B I'll be making the jump tomorrow morning though.
Maybe this should be a separate post, but I remember being shocked when I heard about it on my other BMB... but do you guys sing "Happy Birthday" to Jesus on Christmas?
No.
But apparently one year when I was very young, I insisted my mother bake Jesus a birthday cake and that we all sing happy birthday.

Haha, this is funny.
UO: I think it's ridiculous to go the sexual assault route with Baby It's Cold Outside. Why can't it just be taken in the flirty tone that it was written in. Have that many people never been talked or tried to talk a boyfriend/girlfriend into staying the night?

I was thinking the same thing. I love that song, and I've always taken it as the girl really wants to stay but doesn't want to look bad (because 1950s).
I also hate Christmas Shoes, but not because it makes me cry. Because it's a stupid gimmick written for the sole purpose of trying to make people cry. Get out of my face. I never cry at stupid gimmicks.
I hate My Grownup Christmas List. Puhlease. My grownup Christmas list is my AMEX bill to be paid off.
Also hate Where Are You Christmas (Faith Hill) and the bathing suit Santa Claus song someone mentioned earlier.
My FFWC is that I love Baby It's Cold Outside. I know the lyrics are squicky but the tune and duet is so catchy I can't help it.
I guess I don't really have a least favorite song. I like to be able to sing along, though, so if it is way off the 'original', I have a hard time singing it, and will skip the song if I can.

I was a children's choir director for the past 9 years (just resigned after DD was born), and an accompanist for a few years before that. I like kids singing. Not, like, every song or anything, but it doesn't bother me.

She says "what's in this drink?"
How is that NOT rapey?
She is saying she wants to go and he tells her to stop holding out. It's gross.

Also? All children's choirs are not created equal. Screechy squeaky squealing kids? Pass. Really well trained children singing quality music? All day.

I meant to tell the group that Hallmark made a movie based off of the Christmas shoes song. I'm not ashamed to say I watched it. It was just as horrible as you can imagine. I'm also not embarrassed to say I watch the Hallmark channel at Christmas time, while eating my ribbon candy. Last night Jennifer Grey was in one.
Re: What is your least favorite Christmas song?
Also, Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas would be better if it was faster. And without vibrato.
I don't have satellite radio so I have not been graced with Dominic the Donkey...wth!?
(hee-haw, hee-haw)
It's Dominick the donkey.
Chingedy ching,

Mom to Lily and Colin!
There's a song about a chick who sees Santa on vacation at the beach. I can't even be bothered to figure out the name, I hate it so much.
Btw, I can't believe I forgot to say that I also really hate Feliz Navidad. %-(
But apparently one year when I was very young, I insisted my mother bake Jesus a birthday cake and that we all sing happy birthday.
Christmas Shoes- although I haven't heard it yet this year (thank god)
I have been listening to christmas music since Nov 13- I really want some NSYNC Christmas in my life.

Don't they know it's Christmas: so condescending and offensive
Christmas shoes and One last Christmas: singing about dying moms or kids just doesn't put me in the Christmas spirit. It destroys me.

Eta-not laughing at the concept of the song, I actually never truly listened to the lyrics until I just read them here.

(Do Italians say that? I've been to Italy and don't recall hearing it being said....)
