Is that why your here? Did your real life friends ditch you when you told them you wanted to smoke weed while pregnant, so you came online to make new ones. The only problem being, the people you wanted as friends online think you sound like a freaking moron too.

I've got tons of real friends. I talk to them the same way. My real friends appreciate the honesty. Please find another community that suits you and leave us alone.

Seriously? You join our group and rather than participate in meaningful discussion you post random nonsense and then get nasty with not only our board members, but our mod? Perhaps some self reflection is warranted here, darling. It's not us, it's you.

You guys are all squares. Following stupid controlled "rules" and not thinking outta the box. If your having a kid you need an "imagination" and you have to be open with them coming to you with any topic. Would you turn your kid away if they asked you random shit. Naw i dont think so.
Your not our child so we don't have to answer your RANDOM questions!! If you don't like the group then leave. There's a lot of awesome people in this group that give great advise. But your questions are just some times really silly. I'm pretty sure Google could help you out!

Oh man, I thought I was a Drape! I guess I need to spend more time at Turkey Point...
I had to throw in a Cry-Baby reference after that.

One thing for sure, my kids will know the importance of using real words instead of ignorant slang. Grow the fuck up and go back to school, only this time pay attention.

I wouldn't characterize opinions regarding abstaining from the use of recreational drugs, (mentioned in your other post) during pregnancy "following stupid controlled rules and not thinking outside of the box". That's just common sense, or following medical advice. Sorry that we are not edgy enough for you over here. There is also a profound difference between your child coming to you with "any topic" versus some stranger, stirring the pot on a pregnancy board, within their first handful of posts. I don't think that having an "imagination" has anything to do with being open enough for your child to come and talk to you about any topic. Would I turn my child (DD who is 6 or my soon to be DS) away for asking "random shit?" No, I would not. However, DD asks about My Little Ponies and why clouds are dark when it rains. I surely hope that she never asks me about if she should use drugs while pregnant.... or better yet, poses the question regarding her significant other (if SO happens to be male) just wants to "get his nut off" and what she should do about it. If those questions are being posed to me, I think I have failed as a parent. You are not my child, so I can turn you away for your "random shit" and not feel the slightest bit bad about it.
Perhaps you should be asking these questions to your mother and father, they may have more insight and imagination than us squares on F15.

Darn, I really thought it was hip to be square. guess that era has gone out the window along with the common sense and maturity levels of some of younger generations, like you OP.
How about you go and join baby center or another pregnancy forum site? They may have more moms that will gladly assist you with your discussions.

Okay, so what i've seen on this "supportive" forum is people that are judgemental and if certain people dont like what is being said others encourage there rude comments. You certain people take things literal. Like i used an example and suddenly i'm these peoples "kid"?ha really putting words in my mouth..You guys are on some high school shit and i thank the ones that are open minded and that actually supportive to any subject.
What a bitches you are, bitching like teenagers (maybe it'ts the hormones..) I'm not afraid of not being original an grownup by sharing my cravings: Ricemilk, tomatoes, chees and tahina. Now i'm off to a nicer forum, bye!

Would you like to know what I crave? Better spelling and grammar from randoms! I really don't understand... most browsers even come with a built-in spell check function. How can you STILL spell cheese wrong? I just... I don't... I can't... BAH!
Your active contributions to this forum will be greatly missed... we'll light a candle in your honour...
Quit being so immature. Only middle school kids comment on grammar, spelling, and punctuation. I dont have spellcheck because i use my phone. At least she was mature and shared her cravings instead of being rude and judgemental.

I teach high school, and I've seen a variety of colloquial meanings for "swerve!"
Let me inquire as to which you are referring...
Are you . . .
-telling us to go away? That contextually seems to fit with your waving smiley face. Too bad we aren't going anywhere as we've formed a tight knit community that you've not so gracefully tried to join...
-letting us know you have "swag" or an amazing sense of confidence?
-recognizing that we have, in fact, thrown out strong and interesting insults to which you have no further rebuttal?
ALSO, out of curiosity, how old are you? See, I've never heard "swerve" thrown out by an adult. Just the 17 year olds I teach.
Not that there is anything wrong with being 17--some young mothers get the memo and mature really quickly. I work with a large number of pregnant and mothering teens and my work, and by and large they are a responsible and driven group who still manage to go to school full time, work, and take care of their priorities at home, sometimes with minimal help from family.
(Throwing that out there because i think we might have had a few teen moms respond on an age clicky poll awhile back.)
I am 20 and i am pregnant with my first. I manage for no family help. And i go to school and work.
Good for you. I hope that you take what I am about to say as honest advice, from one twenty something first time mom to another (I am 29). Making a bunch of random posts about cravings and kicks is probably not a good way to get to know people here; stuff like that fits best in the spam threads, anyway. The best way is to do what you came in doing at first, commenting on posts and answering questions. Also, your responses to people might have generated some ill will from people who use the board regularly--its likely that whatever you post now, people will side eye you and immediately assume or interpret it to the worst. Your best bet is probably to clear the air here on this thread, apologize and let everyone know where you are coming from in a mature way and acknowledge everyone else's point of view, and start again with an open mind.
