Hey ladies, I apologize I've been pretty Mia around here lately. MH's pain level has increased dramatically over the last few weeks. Finally surgery day is tomorrow bright & early.
For those of you who might not remember, MH has had two other surgeries this year. An emergency back surgery in January and eye surgery due to an injury in March. The surgery tomorrow should be the final one, but isn't covered by insurance.
If you're the praying type, we would appreciate your prayers and thoughts. The surgery is expected to go well, but is fairly risky as they go through the abdomen to reach the spine.
**UPDATE**
Finally got to see him at about 4pm. The nurses have continued to struggle with his pain levels, but it seems to be improving. At the moment he is asleep and his parents just left (the hospital is 5 hours from where we live).
Thank you all for the prayers and encouragement. It has been an incredibly long day and I'm so glad he's ok.
