In related news, I chickened out re: diva cup and restocked on tampons at Costco yesterday ::hangs head in shame::
I feel sorry for your vag.
If it helps, I have taken my vag camping several times.
I hope you've also given it a Clark bar.
It eats a steady diet of Clark bars and pickle oils.

This kid may not have a lot of bowel, but he has plenty of guts! DS born at 34 weeks with (surprise!) gastroschisis turned short bowel syndrome. 131 days in the NICU, 7 trips to the OR, G-button, daily TPN....
We are impatiently awaiting the day we can say goodbye to his girlfriend Ivy for good.
@MRads I had the same issue for at least a year before ingot pregnant with Jadzia. It always lasted a day or two before and after AF. Except the cycle I got my bfp. It only lasted a day which made me think something was up. I had found something on Dr Google that said there was a correlation between hormone changes and wisdom teeth. Not sure if it's true but was enough to convince myself it was normal
I've been having really, really runny earwax these past few days. Drip, drip, driiiiip.... There's been a clinical study looking at earwax consistency and breast cancer risk, so I feel fully justified posting this in the medical update thread.
Uh-oh. I was googling for a nightlight recommendation for L's room, and it turns out using nightlights can cause cancer.
YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED! Doom, doom, doom.

16.5 weeks pregnant and still can't stop taking my nausea meds. With my other kids I was fine after 12-13 weeks. This kid better be STTN at like a month. I'm tired of feeling like shit.
Also %allergies.
With lo I took anti nausea meds until 20 weeks Pregnant. When I tried to stop at 16 weeks I vomited 2 days later. Lo STTN early on but has become a worse sleeper in her toddlerhood.
Some one on FB recommended Essential Oils for one of my sisters friends who is asking about teething remedies. OMG. This chick said she would be willing to drive an hour to pick up essential oils from said woman (who I know and do not care for).
My sister said "Save your money on essential oils and give her a frozen bagel to chew on!!"
My mom is doing slightly better. The MS-like symptoms have stalled & she credits it to the diet she's on. I don't care what does it as long as the issues don't get worse. :-bd
Grandmama is doing well in her assisted living home. She's even crafting & making friends!
My brother (Twin) is MIA again.
H was the only person that didn't get the cough/drainage-disgustingness over Thanksgiving. The rest of us were sick sick sick. We are on the mend now though.
@haddocky Either a food baby is crowning, or you have chlamydia of the throat.
You can trust me. I'm going to be a doctor soon.

I am not a person who hated the dentist, but that was one of the worst dental experiences.
I had to get two fillings replaced, on the top and one on the bottom. She numbed the top and bottom at the same time. The Novocain made my heart start racing really fast almost like i was gonna pass out. Never happened before and I have had more dental work than I can remember. After we waited for that to pass, it made my eye go numb, which feels really weird, and I have been crying out that eye ever since. Then while she worked on the top tooth, the numb wore off the bottom, so they had to give me more shots.
I care about all of you, but this thread's theme reminds me of reading TMI Christmas letters that my parents get around this time from their geriatric friends.
After that, yes, you'll probably want to chop it off.

@mrshudson618 I have to get carbocaine (it doesn't have epi) when I have dental work. Otherwise my heart races and I start almost convulsing. Do you have a heart murmur or anything that you know of?
no. I have had Novocaine many, many times without issue, but the last two times I had work done I had to have carbocaine because I was pregnant.
ETA: actually I did have a heart murmur as a kid caused by a minor valve problem, I think they said I could grow out of it?
@EagleWife I'm doing much better. Thank you for asking. It's still a little sore, but it's not red anymore. I'm sorry to hear you've had such a horrible weekend at your house. Is everyone on the mend?
I'm on day 7 of cramping, lightening crotch, and now nausea whenever we nurse. I just want to take my body by the shoulder and give it a good shake or maybe a smack, like for a vending machine or fax machine. What the hell body? Get back in line!
I'm not a doctor, but I think clearly this is because your wine vitamin levels are low.
You need a wine supplement!
I had not contemplated that. We are out of wine. And DD stole my chocolate ( this is obviously the root of my problem.
You can add liquor to juice and put it in a wine glass and pretend :-bd
I told you all I would call my dr for medical questions, but she didn't seem concerned.
Anyone else still waiting to have their first period since conceiving? I haven't had a period since Sept 2012. That seems like forever ago. Where is it?!?!

We professionals call it Vitamin W. You can see more information on my joint venture with Dr. Oz, Dr. Phil and Oprah on my facebook page Quack Quack and more Quack.
@lancomechica Important followup.
How do gummy vitamins fit in the fruit snack v fruit matrix?
Gummy vitamins are not snacks. They are safe and will not cause cancer, tooth decay or general decay of society's value of actual real fruit that grows on trees or bushes.
Mmmm...my memoirs...Fruit snacks and the decaying of American Society. I really like that.
My throat is starting to feel a little sore and my nose felt runny. Being the classy bitch I am, I wiped it on my sleeve. Nope - it was blood for some reason. Good thing it wasn't a nice sweater.
