Do you have any upcoming appointments or milestones? Going in again to the OB on Monday - I had a cervical check on Wednesday and it looks like my cervix is losing a lot of length very quickly. Got emergency meds to take at home in case I go into early labor, but probably won't get to use them - they are only good if I have contractions, which I am not having. My OB is very concerned - am on restricted activity.

QOTW: I know this is something that many of us have struggled with: when people ask you how many children you have, do you count your angel(s)? I always count my two boys. I know that it makes me uncomfortable but I really try to get past that - I think its more important sometimes to talk about them. I wonder, though, if baby girl will count her older brothers when somesome asks her if she has siblings.

Do you have any upcoming appointments or milestones? Doppler check in tomorrow (Tuesday). Now that I'm feeling baby boy more often I might not need the doppler check-ins anymore, which is a good feeling.

Bought a Belgian waffle maker on black Friday. It's been a good addition to the household.
Open Topic. What is on your mind this week? It's been a hard week emotionally. I'm feeling pretty good about the new baby and my anxiety about him has lessened, but I'm missing Lincoln more than ever. I'm not sure if it's the start of the holiday season or time passing. I'm just having a hard time wrapping my head around the fact that he was here last year, I was giving him kisses and snuggles, and now he's just not. No Christmas pajamas, no toy shopping. It sucks.

Open Topic. What is on your mind this week? Just trying to survive this holiday season. I knew it would be hard, but I didn't realize just how hard it would be. I miss my son so much.

Do you have any upcoming appointments or milestones? I had my anatomy scan this afternoon. Everything looks good with the baby and we found out that we are having a girl. I'm kind of glad, but DH is a little sad about not having a son to pass on the family name.
Any pregnancy symptoms or pregnancy cravings or aversions? Heartburn is not terrible, but it's definitely annoying right now. My back and hips have been starting to hurt if I'm walking around too much. As for food, I want to eat all of it, all the time. I feel like I could eat constantly. I'm never really full any more.
QOTW: I know this is something that many of us have struggled with: when people ask you how many children you have, do you count your angel(s)? Usually, but not all the time. It depends on how I'm feeling that day and if I will ever see the person again. Random person at the park I will probably not mention him, anywhere else I probably will. I think DH always includes him, but sometimes phrases things very strangely. I heard him tell someone once that we "had a stillborn" not that we had a son who was stillborn or a son who died at birth. That bothered me.
Open Topic. What is on your mind this week? I found out today at my ultrasound that I have an anterior placenta. I have been feeling some movement for weeks, but not much and not often. I hope this doesn't freak me out later when I need to start doing NSTs and counting kicks.
@dadalou- congrats on your baby girl! Btw.. I think we have the same due date
@ikrystal- I am so glad to hear that things are looking good! I'll continue to keep you and baby girl in my thoughts.
@msunshine123- I'm so sorry that you're feeling sick. I know how tough it can get so take care of yourself!

@Bgirma I'm sure this is such a very difficult month for you with the holidays and Wesley's angelversary!
@Bgirma - glad to hear you'll be off the PICC line soon and that baby girl is doing well! I can only imagine how you must feel with Wesley being 1 this month and the holidays too. Bug hugs to you!
