and bring on the exhaustion

That is all :). It's crazy how good I was feeling the last couple days and today can hardly keep my eyes open. My 2 year old sweetie came up to me in my chair and said mommy you can lay back and rest your eyes, I will sing to you and cuddle you to sleep. She's such a sweetie

  • Ditto.  My 2 yr old likes to pretend to put me to sleep (like I do for her naps & might time) so the hard part is not actually falling asleep when she does.

  • I do the head bob at work.... Hopefully I don't actually face plant one of these afternoons....
  • I'm tired just typing this lol. hubby's been letting me k.o. early, it's a blessing since we have 2 kiddos
  • I was just discussing my exhaustion with DH last night at dinner. I know it hits me every pregnancy, but that doesn't make it any easier to function all day. DD tends to go to bed around 7 and I am not far behind her these days!

  • This is me, too.  I think part of it has to do with cutting caffeine down. I feel tired at work.

  • I wish my kids went down at 7. My 1 yo is starting to push back her bedtime to 8/830 and my 2 yo is getting ridiculous she was up till 930 last night I finally just ended up passing out. Maybe hubby will let me just crash tonight early and he can do bedtime by himswlf
  • I have been taking it easy but I really haven't noticed it that much. Although I have 2 Christmas shopping days planned with my mom tomorrow that may put me to the test. We haven't told our parents yet because we really want it to be a Christmas gift so I'm going to have to try to act as normal as possible no matter how I feel!
  • I am recovering from the flu so I can't tell whether I am tired from being sick or from being pregnant.

  • I'm not looking forward to the exhaustion setting in. I'm trying to take advantage of every smidge of energy I sill have right now and prepare for the fact that pretty soon I probably will not see 9pm for a while.

  • I've been sick too, so I don't know if that is part of it, but I have been in bed by 8 every night for the last week. I put my DD to bed and go to bed myself.
  • I'm so glad to not be the only one! I'm literally so tired some days I could fall asleep ANYWHERE.
  • I am so exhausted all the time. And it is hard with a 5 yr old and a 2 yr old. Are any of you emotional?? It takes nothing for me to be crying my eyes out.
  • Yesterday I was like, "wow! This is going to be a great pregnancy." Then today came and I had to take breaks between chores. Operation Exhaustion has officially commenced! Oh drab. :/

    :) glad I'm not alone
  • Definitely not alone. I've literally been coming home from work, eating dinner and going straight to bed. I cannot keep my eyes open past 8:30pm!

I want to wait as long as possible to tell work because I only started a few months ago, but if this exhaustion continues, I'm not sure if that'll be possible.
  • The last time I looked at the clock before falling asleep last night was 7:16. I have no regrets lol.
