Anyone's lower tummy sore?

Hello Ladies,

Last week after I walked about a 1/2 mile -1mile, I noticed my lower abdomen (if that's still officially my abdomen - lol) was a little tender when I started walking later that day/night.  The next day, wasn't as bad, but still a little tender.

Today, back at work, I was walking to the refrigerator, and dang if I wasn't sore.  I wasn't sure what was happening, but a co-worker said my muscles were expanding and that was causing the pain.  His wife had experienced the same thing while she was pregnant -at least that was what he remembered.

Then I came back to my desk, changed out of the heavy shoes I had on (Dr. Marten's) and put on my tennis shoes.  It seemed to help.

Are you experiencing any lower abdomen soreness?

  • I know exactly what you're talking about.  I think it feels like the "pre-cramps" that used to signal my period was about to start.  It's just a slight pain, but uncomfortable enough to make you take notice.  Anyway, yes, it's just your uterus stretching and growing.  It's a good sign!

  • Yes I am experiencing soreness, but I know it's nothing serious because it goes away I figure it was RLP or maybe tender because of the constant kicking down there. With my 1st pregnancy I didn't feel any of this soreness but with this pregnancy I'm feeling everything lol

This! It's too funny, on the July 2010 board someone asked something similiar about this. Last night I was sitting watching TV and felt the cramps. It made me worry a little because it does feel like pre-period cramps, but somehow also reminds me of the slight cramping I had a week and a half before i found out I was pregnant. I just chalk it up to everything growing inside of me.

  • it happens to me after i go running especially. used to be more frequently, but as i get bigger, it happens more after excercise and less "just because".

I think (hope) it's normal. I have an appt on Thurs and was going to double check with my Dr.
