this is my first pregnancy and I've heard that drinking raspberry leaf tea from your second trimester on can help tone your uterus and thus help with labor. Anyone have any experience with raspberry leaf tea?
This is my first pregnancy but my mom swears by it. I started taking red raspberry during the first trimester to help with the nausea and it helped a lot. I will probably continue for the uterus strengthening.
My MWs didn't seem to have a recommendation one way or the other. I started midway through 3rd tri last time and it didn't seem to help much, but I think that I started too late (I hadn't even heard of it before then). This time I will start drinking it later in 2nd tri, maybe around 26 weeks. I read that there is some controversy over the safety of RRL tea prior to 3rd tri.
