Hello ladies! I don't know if you recall, but a few weeks back I posted about having a short cervix. At 26 weeks my baby girl decided to make her appearance last night. She is doing well and actually cried so that was a very good sign that she was trying to breathe on her own. I hope you all have a great 3rd trimester.
~UPDATE~
Thank you all for the good wishes and for the T&Ps. I knew you would all be so supportive and send positive vibes! My little princess continues to do well. She's breathing on her own thanks to the steroid shots I got. They warned me about the "72 hour honeymoon" stage.. A lot of babies come out really strong and little fighters, but then have setbacks. However, I'm hoping everything continues to go well. I'm trying to stay strong, but H is a wreck. He hates to see his princess so small and fragile. I see him cry so I cry, but I know I have a little tough cookie.
P.S Apparently my short cervix didn't really matter in the end. I started bleeding and it was because I had placental abruption. That is what caused preterm labor.

**2nd UPDATE**
Hello ladies, just want to update you guys on my little one! She is doing great!! She was breathing on her own with some oxygen for about 4 days, but started having breathing spells and kept forgetting to breathe (because her brain isn't fully developed) So they intubated her to give her a break. She only had the tube for two days and is breathing on her own again. She isn't on antibiotics anymore. They started her feedings at .5 ml but is now up to 1 ml so I'm extremely happy about that. I got to hold her, kiss her, & changed her extremely small diaper for the first time today. I'm so happy I can't even sleep!!
