Infant seat/containment devices

I am still occasionally using the RNP upstairs just to put DD in if I need a quick shower or to get dressed or whatever. But she really does not like being in it anymore so I need something new.

Downstairs we have a infant -to-toddler rocking chair that was DS's and they can use it for quite a while. I don't want to get exactly the same thing for upstairs but definitely want something that will be useful for a while.

Anyone have recommendations? It won't get a ton of use so bonus points if it is reasonably priced.

Do you have a pack & play? I have ours set up in our bedroom when I need to put LO somewhere safe for a little while.

I second the pack 'n' play. It's how I get the car loaded/unloaded. I have a Bumbo I keep in the bathroom when I shower, but he's starting to wiggle out if it.

PNP is a good idea. I do have one I can set up but I do like that I can bring the RNP wherever I need it. The PNP is not so portable.

Doorway jumper or exersaucer, PNP, crib here. Sometimes his old bath tub if I'm within arms reach but don't want to hold him, fill it with toys.

I vote doorway jumper as well! It was a hand me down but it's great and easy to move when need to.

I let her roam in DS's room with some toys while I shower. It's gated and baby proofed. The worst thing that could happen is getting stuck under the chair or crib, which is NBD.

The Summer Infant Activity Seat is my go to. It is something you can easily take from room to room,outside, or to a friends house. It's only tops $35 new and I got mine used for $10 off a FB garage sale site. I bring it in the bathroom with me when I shower.

I put a ton of toys on my bathroom floor and just shut the door to keep him in the room while I shower. He's not interested in the toilet yet and the rest of the room is baby-safe.

I went for the bathroom jumper after little dude opened the shower door and climbed on in while I was showering.

Both boys rooms are completely baby proofed so I put the gate up at the stairs, close the master bedroom door and let them play in the rooms while I shower, clean, whatever.
