Sorry I have been MIA, Thanksgiving has made things a little crazy.  I'm just in the waiting period-my beta is Dec 3.  Thank you @Sunshinelady15 about the acupuncture info.  I decided to skip the massage.  I read you shouldn't have one in your first trimester so I figured why risk anything.  I am going to look into the acupuncture though.

I'm sorry @SweetieShellieH‌, for your delay.  It sounds like you made the right choice.

@aurorap725 I hope your doctor can help you figure this out.

jeezidunno I know how you feel.  My beta is Wed, but I'm not feeling too optimistic.  I've had constant cramping the past few days and this is what happened to me last time when my beta was BFN.  Hang in there, I guess we won't know for sure until the actual day.

Congrats to all of the BFPs and hugs to the BFNs.

I got my period Friday morning and started BCPs today for my FET which will hopefully be in January.  I have to call my clinic on Monday to set up my saline sono and find out if I need to put a deposit down on my January cycle (I should have a credit from my cancelled fresh transfer, so I'm not sure how much of a deposit they will need).  I am also hoping to squeeze in a quick consult with my RE if possible to talk about what the best plan is to make sure my lining is perfect this cycle.  We've decided that this will definitely be our last cycle with my eggs, so I want to give this transfer the best shot possible since it is our last chance for biological children.

QOTD: December used to be my favorite time of year because of my birthday and Christmas, but the last few years have been tough, particularly last year since it was right after my chemical pregnancy.  This year is a little better since we have 2 frosties waiting for us, but overall the holidays haven't been the same for me since our infertility diagnosis.  My other favorite time of the year is early fall, when the leaves change and the temps get a little cooler.

A huge congrats to everyone with a BFP and fingers crossed for those still waiting to find out.

I went in for my beta on Tuesday, and unfortunately, got the bad news that I was somewhat expecting, a BFN. I had been testing, so it wasn't a total shock, but of course it hurts nonetheless. There's always a little piece of you that hangs on to hope. I got the call as DH and I were on our way to the airport to catch our flight to visit family. Needless to say, we had a few drinks at the airport bar before takeoff. Being away and visiting family was actually a nice distraction from it all. We had a really nice Thanksgiving, but there were definitely a few times where my eyes couldn't help but water up when my mind would wander. I have my follow up appointment with my RE in the beginning of January, so I'm hoping that we can kickoff round 2 of IVF early next year. Until then, I'm going to indulge in some glasses of wine, eat lots of sushi and soft cheeses, and enjoy not taking daily injections. :)
