Sleeeeep. I don't know if this qualifies as something I'll miss, but id also love to be able to move on from my now ex. But since I'm pregnant, that seems unlikely.
Mimosas. And a dear friend is getting married in Aruba this January. We will still be attending and I am looking forward to a week on the beach, but I was really looking forward to a week on the beach with fruity cocktails in hand!
I am missing my annual family ski trip this year, well not the trip but the skiing. I get to hang in the lodge. And sushi!!! The raw stuff that is. I'm probably going to still eat any cooked sushi
It's a dumb one...but I'm missing drinking haha. For the main reason that I hope to make presidents club for work, which is a free trip to the bahamas...open bar. And this will happen right when I'm SUPER pregnant even if I can go...what is a week in the tropics with colleagues if you can't booze it up!?
In the winter I don't think I'll miss too much. Cold weather is a good excuse for me to want to stay in. Now come spring/summer I'm gonna miss after work cocktails a ton. I've managed to maintain my social life pretty well after having DS but I'm scared 2 is going to be a lot harder.
I miss craft beer. A LOT. And sushi (just not completely comfortable with it, and I'd have to do it in hiding from DH, if I did!). But, given we've been blessed with the opportunity to get pregnant without IVF -- our assumed route for #3 given my annovulatory history -- I figure it's a fair enough trade-off. However, that doesn't mean I don't *really* want a Great Lakes Christmas Ale. Like, right now.
TTC Since 11/10 due to Unexplained IF
4 Rounds of Clomid, 2 Rounds of Femara + IUI, 2 rounds of IUI+ Injectables (Bravelle + Menopur) = First BFP! TWIN GIRLS!
November 2, 2012 - Claire (2lbs 8.9oz) and Paige (2lbs 10oz) arrive at 29w3d due to PTL and pPROM at 28w5d
I miss enjoying coffee. It doesn't even taste good to me anymore.
Yes! Coffee was one of my greatest pleasures in life. Now, the taste and smell repulse me. Same with booze.
Married - April 2014 | Miscarriage - June 2014 BFP - Oct 2014 - was scheduled for IVF, but discovered we did it naturally instead! - first baby! EDD July 8
+1 for skiing! And I bought awesome new skis on clearance this summer...I haven't even taken them out of the box. DH won't be skiing either due to a knee injury he's recovering from...winter will be so weird. What will we do with our weekends??
+1 for craft beer - breweries are a part of our culture here and right now I'm avoiding them so no one notices I'm not imbibing. It's probably a good thing - the smell of beer suddenly makes me sooo nauseous.
And +1 for cancelling a trip. We were going to Cozumel in January but were considering cancelling due to some other stuff (DH's knee included) and finding out I have a BOB made the decision easier.

Holiday craft beers, margaritas, rum and coke after a particularly awful day at work.
Having a routine with 1 that is working and now having to start all over with figuring out that new routine (beyond excited but nervous about how to manage).
Def missing roller derby. Felt weird putting my gear up on the shelf. Went skiing a few times last year for the first time ever and was looking forward to trying out snowboarding this year! Also was planning a trip to Iceland for June. Guess that's getting postponed! Oh, and sushi. SUSHIIIII!!!! And eggnog. All in all, small sacrifices.
Cedar point. We go a few times a year now we can't. No point in paying all that money to walk around.
I am going to miss Cedar Point too next year. That's a bummer.
I'm also going to miss jet skiing and doing crazy fun spins, tubing (maybe by Labor Day?). And of course wine!! I was thinking about buying sparkling grape juice to have with my popcorn because I miss it so much!
At the moment, I really miss eating real food instead of just chicken and star soup, but I can't stand the thought of anything else. I really really want to be able to share this with my mom, but DH and I decided to wait until Christmas to tell family, so at least that's just waiting a few more weeks. This is our first, and my parents' first grandbaby, so I can't wait! But I will. .
I miss being totally free to use or eat anything without having to Google if it is okay for pregnant women. My hair is so oily and I have dandruff since being pregnant. I found out I can't even use T-gel shampoo because it is bad for the baby.
Things I will miss: mainly, just feeling well, particularly during the holiday season. This is my favorite time of year and I hope I'm not too sick to enjoy it. I will also miss a planned vacation in August (6 hour drive with a 6-week old and 4-year-old... not doing it! Plus it is a pretty remote area and I get worried being so far from good hospitals just in case.).
Major Chardonnay withdrawl! It took me the first three months to forget alcohol the first go round!! It's always hard during the holidays with such wonderful parties!!
Im going to miss planning our vacation for next year and camping trips. We just cant think of any appropriate place to go and the only week we can go is the end of June. That's too close to my EDD. I hope we get at least one camping trip in when spring gets here because I dont think tent camping with an infant would be enjoyable for anyone.
Coffee, hands down. I quit all caffeine the second I saw a positive. I thought I was having crazy dizziness from the pregnancy during the first two or three weeks, but honestly it was probably caffeine withdrawal. :-S
I'm missing soda/sweet tea (im trying to stay away from them because I drink it like there's no tomorrow. And trying to be more healthy.) I don't drink or smoke so I don't miss any of that. I miss the gym in a way lol still work out just no heavy lifting.
Have any of you downhill skiiers tried cross country? My ob recommended it as a substitute. I've never tried but it seems really lame. I was going to treat myself to new boots this year

I haven't, and I also think it seems lame. I ski for steeps and speed...cross country wouldn't be the same. No offense to cc'ers - I'd love for you to convince me otherwise!

XC skiing is pretty awesome actually. I snowboard and xc ski and I don't prefer one over the other--it's a different experience for sure though. It's certainly athletic and gets you outside in beautiful places. And I like to do XC with hills!
I'm gonna miss going to Disney World and just strolling around catching up with old friends. Though, I can't wait til my litttle tadpole is older so I can take her to see all the wonders that are Fantasmic!
You can actually enjoy the vast majority of rides at Disney World while pregnant, only a few come with a warning. We are headed up there today, and my doctor actually cleared me to ride anything I want at 8 weeks. Once I have a real belly I will not go on certain rides, but will keep going to Disney. We just bought Annual Passes in October (figures, right?) and only live 3 hours away. I could understand skipping a trip because it is expensive to not be able to go on everything though.

We planned a trip to Hawaii in feb. My dream is to surf there. Guess I'll be sun bathing instead.
